I appreciate the range of workout options, but the limitation on bookings is a big downside. Paying that much for a membership like Black or Epic and still having a limit of 20 bookings lowers the overall rating.

I've been a loyal Bruce user for a while now, but the recent changes have made it really hard to justify staying. The price has gone up while the value has gone in the exact opposite direction — fewer partner studios, shorter visit windows, and gyms I actually used regularly have left the platform.
On top of that, the strike system for late cancellations has become completely disproportionate. Strikes now last significantly longer than they used to, meaning one mistimed cancellation can lock you out of bookings for an unreasonable amount of time. Life happens — and penalising paying customers this aggressively while simultaneously reducing what they're paying for is tone deaf.
This is the classic move of charging more while quietly delivering less, and it feels like existing users are being taken for granted. A price increase might be understandable if the offering improved or even stayed the same — but paying more for a shrinking network and harsher penalties is just not acceptable.
I genuinely liked Bruce and wanted it to work, but right now it doesn't make financial sense. If this trajectory continues, I'll have no reason to stay. Sort it out.

I used to really love Bruce—it’s a great concept with amazing options. However, as an early user, it’s become quite frustrating after introducing an additional pricing tier. They’ve gradually reduced how often regular users can access or attend. It feels like you’re paying more while getting way less and it just keeps on being reduced every month - a great strategy to scare existing customers away I guess

Overpriced and a bit limiting. Also not really worth unless you’re in the higher tiers. Base isn’t offering much for what I want. Would rather see that one could build their own set of gyms/activities and get a custom price based on that. I still only use about 4-5 studios anyways. It’s been a few gyms close-by my job and home that has left Bruce which has sucked also.
I’m stupid, so now I commited for a year to get some discount

I have been a member since 2020 and I love the wide range of studios and classes. The fact that you can book a class in pretty much any field of training, so effortlessly through the app, makes staying active easy. You can also connect with friends through the app and invite them to the classes you're planning to attend - as well as see what classes they're planning on attending - it makes it extra fun and motivating to exercise! The support team is great and they are usually reasonable and understanding. I miss some studios that are no longer part of Bruce, like Fightbox and Becore, but I do feel they are always trying to expand their selection of studios and I'm finding new favorites constantly!

I have had Bruce for 1,5 years and I am happy with the offer. It gives me possibility to try different kind of training forms and explore new places. I get a varied training and also the possibility of wellness from time to time. The app is well designed and easy to understand, and I get quick support within 24h in the online help if I need it.

I really enjoyed the app and the variety it offered until the end of 2025. From 2026, many substantial changes have been implemented, which I consider a real bummer. E.g. Friskis & Svettis were discontinued, meaning that the only gym-chain is STC. STC does not live up to the standards, it offers much fewer group classes, and the clubs are dirty, furnishings are often broken, and there is never soap or paper tissues. Also, my favourite studios are no longer on the offer. Also, you can now only opt out from a booking latest 12 hours before, which is quite bad for flexibility. There's basically no point waiting in the queue cos half a day before nobody will leave it. So, yeah, dunno.

I've been using Bruce for nearly 4 years now and it is extremely useful and I recommend it to everyone who wants to go regularly to the gym or try new things. Some places will be booked very quickly but others, not so much. It really depends on what you want to do.
I am sad the partnership with Friskis & Svettis is ending and I wish there were ways to find places with a hot tub option, but overall it's really worth it and being able to buy a year long card is helpful to save a bit. I do wish that some of the spa places wouldn't use it as an advertising and discourage people from booking on the app and instead require you to contact them privately. It doesn't seem fair to Bruce.
The only thing that could be improved app wise for me is similar to how Google Maps offers you a time when it is most busy, it would also be great to have that especially for the STC locations. Or a way to contact the gym directly through the app if there is something broken or wrong. Or also a way to report a location because one gym I went to said it had open hours and it was not open when I went there.

I have been member (black) for almost 1 year, and since then the price plan has been updated twice. Many studios decreased number of visits (from 8 to 4). What I found extremely annoying is that you can cancel a booked class latest 12 hours before it starts otherwise you will be charged for no show (140 sek) - if it would be 4 hours, I could understand, but 12 hours is super strict policy. I don't recommend Bruce, I think the service is not worthy for how they deal with their members.

was recommended to try Bruce Studios and received a link for a free 14-day trial in Copenhagen. I followed the link and completed the registration process. However, after authenticating with DK MitID, I only received the message:
"Intet produkt er blevet tilføjet til kassen. Se vores medlemskaber og credits."
I tried registering twice and experienced the same issue both times. As a result, I was not able to activate the trial period or even test how the platform works.
Unfortunately, this was a waste of time. A free trial should be simple and welcoming, but the process failed at the very first step.

I just registered for a year knowing the studios on it. But bad surprise since beginning of the year a lot of options or studios are either withdrawing advantages we had or have not renewed their contract. I feel the platform is too expensive for the options it has, and felt a bit fooled from registration to reality. Either the studios you like disappear, or you have to go around the city or you have very few availabilities.

I am very happy with Bruce Black so far. Very grateful that I can visits studios near my home as well as office. And it’s also fun to explore new. However, I was really upset with the limit of 20 classes. Now I always think okay, what if I do more, then I will have to wait at the end of the month and not work out. It’s a bit frustrating. I understand that unlimited is maybe a bit more realistic, but making it 25 or 30 would feel so much better. Thank you!
