Will Writing Service
I cannot recommend Azeem Iqbal at Britton & Time Solicitors highly enough. I used the firm's will writing service and from start to finish Azeem was exceptional. There was quite a bit of back and forth over email, and he patiently took the time to explain everything clearly at every stage. He's extremely knowledgeable and made what could have been a daunting process genuinely straightforward. On top of that he was polite, friendly and a pleasure to deal with throughout — the rare combination of highly professional and completely approachable. A brilliant solicitor and a credit to the firm. Thank you Azeem!
Avoid at all costs!
I had an initial consultation with Paul Britton, the founder of the company. I found him to be very arrogant, patronising and completely lacking in empathy. After half reading the documentation that I sent, he clearly had already made his mind up about my case. Not to mention he also told me some incorrect information about the DPA which was later confirmed by two separate other sets of lawyers. If I could give zero stars, I would. Awful experience for someone going through a stressful time in life. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Great Service
I had an excellent experience working with my solicitor. They were knowledgeable, proactive, and always kept me fully informed throughout the process. Their attention to detail and calm, confident approach made a stressful situation much easier to navigate. I felt supported from start to finish, and the outcome exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend their services to anyone needing reliable legal support.

Unacceptable behaviour do not use
Further to my review a partner Paul Britton promised to look into my complaint and revert back to me
Surprise surprise never heard anything back
As before do not use
Absolute crooks and fake review left on review solicitor's
After months of attempting to obtain help, no one was willing or conveniently didn’t have capacity until Britton & Time solicitors accepted my request for a judicial review at around 85 days - after 90 days it was an uphill struggle and a highly skilled process that very few of us can do without highly skilled legal representation. Rojin Tamsin did not provide clear information or the timelines or even look at paperwork that I had bought to the appointment (they asked me to email this, but I was already on the train) and instructed Nick Robinson KC to prepare a report. My emails clearly demonstrated evidence of misconduct, and as professionals, they should have recognised this
I did apply for a position as office…
I applied for the Office Administrator position and, while they decided to move forward with a different candidate, the communication was clear and the quick turnaround was appreciated. I wish the successful candidate all the best and hope they can contribute to improving processes and the overall customer experience.
Poor performance
Poor performance, unfair invoices. Management have little credibility
FAILED to achieve anything but big invoices
FAILED to achieve anything but charity over billed and further invoices due to firms own uninstructed actions. They should be reported to the ombudsman and monitored carefully for over-billing and underachieving for their clients. Their complaints process is a more disgraceful than the accounts billing team.
High court costing
We are aware of this company and have recently advised several people how to pursue getting your costs assessed at High Court ,these patterns are becoming all to familiar with company’s like Britton and Time and this is something you can do yourself don’t involve another solicitor , start N252 form . Do your research .
I agree with most of the other…
I agree with most of the other unsatisfied clients. They send letters and emails that contain mistakes or need explanation and then charge you for asking them to correct them. Attachments were sent in a format that could not be opened on a Mac and charged for me asking for another format. Really unprofessional and a lot of their better reviews do not look genuine. Ridiculously expensive and unprofessional.
Avoid this company
Following the initial all smiles and we can help you speech from the Brighton office, (Sophie Campbell -Adams & Alex Gist) I instructed the company based on outline costs quoted (trusting them)
I also paid money upfront again in trust
As it has turned out none of the costings advised have ever been accurate, in fact they’ve been more than double ?
With an overall cost in excess of £6,600
It’s very clear to me that the agenda here, after you’ve signed up is all about making money
Even providing them with surveys reports costing me a separate £1,000 they still managed to use up all the £1,800 provided and another £708 for one letter
So in affect the work they quoted actually cost me £3,508 inc
They sent me many emails which provided very little clarity regarding key points, so prompting me to reply which they then charged me for many times
Various irrelevant questions asked which they already had the information but again I was charged
At £6,600 plus it was clear this wasn’t going anywhere and the progress nonexistent other than a rejection from the builder which I already knew
Further more it was made clear they’d be after another £5-6k for the next steps which i declined, so then raising a complaint as cost would be out of control (potential cost rising to £12-13k) ludicrous!
The response was cold and mechanical telling me this would be placed in their complaints process
Surprise surprise the same person then wrote back rejecting my claims
However what really shows this companies agenda is that within the reply it was highlighted the complaint investigation would be “free of charge” it was even shown on an invoice as £0
To even suggest or mention this is an utter disgrace and just proves my point
A company who have been taken on in good faith to help and assist in a serious matter are actually exploiting you and the situation - however finally showing their true colours
This company has achieved nothing by way of helping my case, even at a cost of £6,600 ?
No wonder these trades people get away with it and the consumer has no faith in the process
Don’t use this company
