My last-minute saviours!
While working in Bridgnorth I was alerted by my car to low pressure in the rear tyre, when I went to investigate it had already dropped to 21psi. There was a bolt stuck in the tyre, mid tread. My car doesn't have a spare wheel, so I googled and found this was the closest garage to me. My call was answered by a person, who checked my circumstances (where was my car, was I safe, when did I need to leave work by) and gave me a number to send a photo of the bolt. He reassured me it was likely to be repairable, advised me not to drive the 300m to them in case the bolt was pushed deeper, and instead advised they would come and remove my wheel, take it back to the garage, then bring it back. They pinged me a message to advise when they were on their way, and while doing the work were extremely friendly and reassuring.
As if the friendliness, reassurance, kept promises and rapid service (despite being busy that day and this being a last-minute call) didn't make them a stand out with my experience of car garages, the price was extremely reasonable (a national company had given me a repair price with call out fee that was 5x what I was charged).
If I need a garage for anything I don't have to go to the manufacturer for, I'll definitely give them a ring.
