Really fast service and it's the most beautiful bow! Looks fantastic and it has ice balance and the sound so far on a modern instrument is good but hoping to get a baroque cello soon.

Within minutes of my online order I got a phone call to discuss alternatives for an unavailable violin string which then arrived the next working day for reasonable postage cost. Outstanding responsiveness and customer service!

This is the first time I have purchased from this company and it won’t be the last. Great price for a high end item and there was such a personal touch to the service I received. The item had been carefully and thoughtfully packed and delivered without a hitch. Couldn’t be happier. Thank you.

Ordered some nylgut chantrelle strings for my hurdy gurdy. They arrived promptly and were cheaper than the company I have used in the past. I will be using them for strings from now on.

The order came the next day which was great as living in the far west of Cornwall is not always my experience with next day delivery. Thank you!

I was lucky enough to discover Bridgewood and Neitzhert on a Saturday stroll through Stoke Newington, and what a fortuitous discovery that turned out to be as a few weeks later I decided to pick up my violin and play it again after a 20 year break. I couldn’t even remember what the open strings were supposed to be tuned to so that’s how much I had forgotten. My violin turned out to need extensive repairs which I hadn’t realised. I came into the store to re-hair my bow and value the violin, but the shop team immediately saw that the violin also needed to be glued. Whilst with the luthier, they also discovered that the neck was twisted which meant the violin was unplayable. Gary Bridgewood advised for me to fix this issue rather than buy a new violin from the store, as although extensive, the repair would restore my violin back to its original and perhaps even better sound. He was right! My violin now sounds amazing and I am absolutely delighted with the result. The shop team were so helpful with all of my enquiries, helped me select a bow, and chinrest and were so patient and knowledgeable with all of my questions. I’ve had a really great experience and highly recommend Bridgewood and Neitzhert for their expertise, professionalism, and honest advice.

Dimensions were not stated of the chin pad so it is inadequately sized. The illustration did not show the pad in use.
