Talk about 'Slow dating'! It's fine if there is actually dating, but its more like 'Non-existing dating'! 1 match over the course of at least 8months. The streak count is also rubbish. The dates app... See more

Don’t buy date token packages!
I really like the idea behind this app, and have given it 6 months, however I’d agree with the other reviews about it being a money grabber. I’ve been on the app now for 6 months, and in that time have had dates arranged with 6 men, 4 of which they cancelled right before. I am picky so not bothered about the number of dates overall, more so the 66% cancellation rate - which the app says it’s designed to minimize! These all used date tokens which I bought in advance and the token got refunded, however I now can’t get this money back. Theyve said below ‘To be transparent: we only earn money when you go on a date, and we use that fee to invest again in our business.’, but is it really just sitting in a pot somewhere? No. So why can’t I have my money back? I have given this dating app a really good shot, but I wouldnt recommend to anyone based on my experience.
It's a money grab
It's a money grab, I get the idea but in reality it doesn't work. You have no way of communicating effectively with your date even though you've both paid. This means if you need to ask a question or rearrange, Breeze still control and prevent you from doing this. Don't waste your time.. I'm £30 down and not been on a date yet!
It banned me because I cancelled a…
It banned me because I cancelled a date, I really didn't want to meet the person. 2 other people had cancelled on me, which cost me money. Waste of time and terrible idea of an app.
Terrible customer service
The refund policy is terrible as has tried to reschedule a date less than 24 hours due to travel emergency. The date cancelled and I asked for a refund as I did not cancel the date but needed to reschedule it. My money is gone and Breeze was not accommodating to the situation, terrible customer service.

Money grabbing app - zero stars
UPDATE :
100% Fact: Until the day I posted the review below I was matching with people every single day. Since the day of the review below? ZERO. Whoa! Vindictive AND Greedy! Like hell I have the time for this circus company of deceivers.
They book you in bars they have arrangements with but no consideration to your location. If you ask for a change they send you more options just as far as the original one! Then if you don’t accept you lose upto £9 for ONE date you said no to because Breeze wanted to send you miles away. If you have bought a date token bundle they will not refund any of it even if you want to leave the awful app. Beware of their pitfalls and clever ways of never refunding any of your money no matter what.

Designed to guzzle your money!!!
The concept works. You can get dates. But the platform is designed to guzzle money. You cannot browse, decline, or accept other profiles or arrange any other dates until you pay for the first date you accepted. You are completely locked in.
The other thing is you then receive app AND email notifications asking you all the time to pay for a date. I counted 5 in one day. And quite frankly from a customer experience, the app is self serving to its creators who have created a concept m to try to maximise as much profit out of you as possible. You feel robbed.
The other thing is that if you cancel a date, and do not pay (they threaten to freeze you account for a week, and state this can potentially extend to one month based on their discretion.) it’s draconian but as said, DESIGNED to extract money out of you.
My recommendation. Allow users to choose to go for a drink with at least 3 other members a day once you already have a match, as 6 options simply isn’t enough a day. Of those matches, one must be accepted or something like that. People will be more cautious when selecting profile.
Just to add, if you do accept a date. It’s £9.50 off the bat and you get a location and a drink. But they offer bundles which cost £40 for 6 dates. But as said. They want your money!

Crappest date site ever
Back again, as they still refuse to refund me!
Never EVER pay these scam monkies a single penny
You've more chance of meeting someone and it would be far more pleasurable to repeatedly slam your car door on the fingers of your dominant hand, if after about an hour of this you are still considering joining please please keep doing it for another 6 or 7 hours till the urge goes away
I got a date within first week or two, since then absolutely nothing
Am convinced first one was a stooge who worked for breeze, just to reel you in
27.5.25 finally relented and gave refund, so thanks for that but tbh only bright spot of experience, I'd still advise avoiding
Waste of time
Waste of time! There’s no option to enter your preference criteria, therefore I was constantly shown unsuitable matches. But my main annoyance is that they’ve made it extremely difficult to delete my account. It gives instructions but the “my account” page is impossible to find. The whole concept of this app is utterly ridiculous
It has potential
It has potential but so far the execution is not good at all
Feedback
1. Stop trying to move to every uk city establish the app in London then move on
2. Put on face to face monthly dating events in each city only way people will keep using it or know about it in each location
3. If man is expected to pay women should be expected to come half way for a date
4. Implement no of dates for men and women on profiles people have been on so men and women can avoid
serial daters or time wasters (men and women)
It’s clear some women are getting dates and just wasting everyone’s time as there still on the site with some breeze badges showing clearly multiple dates ( better safe guards needed for men and women )
5. Matching pools need a tech fix each day you should be getting one match from each pool at least it’s just not doing at present
6. App has had no updates in ages that’s not good sign to keep people using it
7. Won’t ever remove fact many just look at your first picture as dating has become so shallow
8. Breeze employee(s) at every date location ( breeze might need to buy pub in each location soon I hear or multiple in big city )
9. Location is an issue and travelling but if women won’t make a effort they shouldn’t be on the site specially as the man pays for the date
10. Women clearly aren’t giving men a chance ( wasting blokes time and date money ) many of the breeze badges represent multiple dates and many of the women still on the site after 4/5 dates
11. If your not in a major city no one wants to make a effort
12. App centred around London with both men and women not interested making a effort
13. If you are in say Oxford or brighton this app is worthless just not enough matches ir people even willing to meet for 30 mins to chat and a walk
14. Idea was good but this dating app isn’t good
15. I’ve got brother on this app and women are awful so up themself “listen you’ll get no where without making a effort or just going on looks”
16. Worst dating site going that’s saying something and can get dates from other sites what’s wrong with this one?
17. From a women the women are awful some of messages to my brother also on site are awful from women that are literally like a 2/10
18. It’s debated the site even works aand probably wurst fur superficial women I’ve ever encountered
Great concept but needs a lot of work
I’ll keep my review open to change if things change but the experience has got worse
As an investor myself I’d worry about a investment at this stage it seems stagnate and scatter approach
Awful business
Awful business. Charged me £200 for dates that never happened and wouldn't refund. I had to apply to the courts for them to reply to just one email and to eventually recover my money. I then found evidence they use your data off the app without your permission to make decisions
Waste of time
So after only 3 days of using it they run out of potential matches for me and they only show 7 a day. . They suggested to widen my criteria but I don't want someone living 100 miles away and smaller than me. I live between 2 big cities so surely there should be some choice. Widening my age pool didn't help much as well. Waste of time - shame as I was quite excited about this.
The idea behind the service is…
The idea behind the service is excellent, but the implementation is terrible. They fail to consider the distances where people live, making you travel two hours to the other side of the city. They change dates from bars to walks and refund only half the amount, essentially stealing money. It’s clear that their restaurant partners no longer want to cooperate with them, and this becomes a problem for users who rely on the service. They are shifting their problems onto their customers.
Good idea, horrible execution
So the concept seemed good, the execution is horrible.
The locations they allocate for the dates are very random, and doesn’t work in a big city !! Sometimes the commute is over an hour ! In remote locations that are not accessible easily. They should choose central locations or find a system to figure out based on the two people’s location.
Secondly, the booking system they claim to have needs checking, twice I had a supposed booking, to be surprised that actually the bar is not in business anymore for a long time ! So how do they claim to have made a booking while the bar has been closed for long time.
When that happened they only refunded me half a token !
Further to that, they refused to refund me my money when I decided to stop using the app for lack of security and for their horrible customer service.
Not recommended at all.
Great dating app
Breeze is a service that organises dates, without all the hassle of chatting online first. Having used the service for about a month, I've had 3 enjoyable dates so far, and have another 3 set up for this week, all with different people. All the people have been as they claimed in their profile, and the app has a way to report people who aren't, which helps to ensure you meet the person you expect to. It's also a far more cost-effective service than others, since you pay in advance for the date, and that includes a free drink, which normally costs more than the price of the date anyway.
