Omg such a similar experience awful organisation throughout trip!!!
It was an absolute shambles when we went too I can’t believe he is still getting away with running them!!
I also don’t think it’s appropriate to advertise as a transfer from London and charge £75 to then turn up with your mate in cars and try to pile 5 adults and luggage for 5 hours into cars I expected a mini bus and someone else said he would not be insured to do this!

The staff are so nice! The schedule is actually amazing that we did a lot for 2days! Met some amazing new friends 🩷Definitely worth a try!!!
The experience was great because it included surfing lessons and I managed to learn something and stand up on the board for the first time in my life. The wetsuit supplied also helped me to get in the water, as for me it's really cold to go to the sea in England.
It also included transport by car until the location, something that helps as public transport takes longer. Although I think they could plan this part better so the group arrives earlier in the accommodation.
The accommodation also could be better, although it was a hostel, it could have towels and hairdryer or breakfast included. Many hostels, even with 10 beds per room, have it.
The group was great, no complains. We did activities together and it was lovely to have company.
I tried many new things, like sauna for example and skateboard.
All the services were good but with a bit of planning could be with a bit more comfort.
Apart from that, it was an experience I would definitely repeat.
We had a wonderful time at the breakAway Surfcamp in Morocco! The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and they truly did everything they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The food was good and in line with what you’d expect from Moroccan cuisine. We had some dietary restrictions due to allergies and being vegetarian, which made us a bit of a special case, but from the second day on, everything worked out really well. If you have any specific needs, it’s best to communicate them in advance – the team is very accommodating and open.
Communication was great throughout, and we felt well taken care of. In addition to surfing, there are many optional activities you can book. For us, the highlight was definitely the sandboarding – a magical evening with a sunset in the dunes and a Ramadan dinner in the desert. A truly unforgettable experience!
The surfing itself was also a lot of fun. Most of the time we surfed at the local beach, but sometimes we took the bus to more remote spots. The surf instructors were super friendly, motivated, and really put in the effort to help us improve. You could also grab the equipment anytime and head into the water on your own. However, it’s worth noting that the instructors are not yet certified – compared to other camps I’ve been to, I learned more in a shorter amount of time elsewhere. Still, it’s absolutely sufficient for beginners or anyone just looking to have fun in the water.
All in all, we had a great time! For the price, the camp is really worth it. If you want to experience more of the country, I’d recommend booking a bed at the hostel and adding surf sessions and activities as you go – that way, you’ll have more flexibility to explore the local food and culture on your own.
Bought a surfboard from them. Very fast next-day delivery with great prices on the board. I couldn't find anywhere that sells them cheaper.
Had a great surf trip with Breakaway to Scarborough. Ahmed organized everything very smoothly and this was by far my best surf trip so far.
I went on a surf weekend trip from London to Scarborough UK and it was well organized and budget friendly. Breakaway surf coordinated all of the logistical details (transport, accommodation, surf lessons) so only had to show up and enjoy
Great service 100% recommend anybody to experience

I had an incredible experience the team was welcoming and professional. The instructor was super professional They provided clear instructions, helpful tips, and great encouragement, which made catching waves so much easier and way more fun!
Had a great journey and interesting conversation on the bus from the accommodation. Staff were friendly and got us from our rooms to the on the sea safely. The water was a bit choppy, but I'm sure BreakAway Surf chose the best location for beginners.
I enjoyed the fact that they are really patient with you and they are able to adapt to your learning process.
