I had a terrible experience with Brantjes. They took my entire deposit and acted unprofessionally. We rented a house in Beverwijk for two years, and during our stay, they were unresponsive to issues like hot water, heat, and electricity. Upon move-out, they claimed the cooktop needed replacing due to minor scratches, even though it worked perfectly. I offered to replace it myself, but they insisted on using their contractor and charged me €572—double the market rate. I found similar cooktops for €250-€300 but they ignored my concerns. They also charged €335 to replace a small freezer door, which was absurd, oh come on you will get a medium size freezer by this money. In total, they took €927 without providing any proof of repairs, and despite multiple requests, they haven't responded to my emails or calls. They even failed to return the old cooktop as promised. I feel completely scammed and frustrated. Avoid Brantjes at all costs—they don't deserve a single star.
