The constant reminders were just what I needed

I want to cancel the subscription to brainway at 39.95 a month immediately. My name is Stephanie Stroud

Fun visuals, multiple choice selections were on point, optional extras, easy to cancel rules

So intuitive and loved the ability to check all that applied.

Absolute scam! I signed up for a trial, never used any of it and managed to get around to cancelling before charged. Five months later I've just had a £190 payment taken from my card, having previously unsubscribed and never interacted with the service since. I am absolutely outraged. I suppose they think they've got a great business model, preying on procrastinators who won't get around to cancelling or complaining but I have to say, this has given me more motivation than I've had in a long time!

Once I found how to unsubscribe, you made it easy. I like the brainway system. I just really don't have time to do it often. I haven't looked at it in months. But in the back of my mind, the procrastination drum kept banging away. Today was the day to get it done instead of putting it off again. So yes, the lessons you teach do make a difference. Thank you.

What a terrible company. They prey on people who have ADHD, procrastination, and distraction issues. They charge an outrageous amount for an app that is overwhelming and ineffective. I was charged $120 5 through 2 different charges over 3 months. I had already thought I have canceled the service, but after auditing my bank account, discovered a new charge of $80 in addition to the original $40 that was charged. This company is a scam.

Be very careful when purchasing from this company.
After my initial purchase, I discovered that I had been enrolled into recurring subscriptions for what appear to be different apps/products within the same company. When I asked for everything to be cancelled, I was told each one was effectively separate, meaning I had to identify and cancel them individually while further charges continued.
Reading through other Trustpilot reviews, I noticed a pattern. Many customers raise concerns about unexpected recurring charges, and the company's standard response is that the terms and conditions were clearly outlined and reminder emails were sent.
That completely misses the point.
Just because something is hidden in the terms and conditions or fine print does not make it fair or transparent. Consumers should not have to navigate multiple add-on subscriptions and recurring payments that arise from a single purchase. If so many customers are experiencing the same issue, perhaps the problem lies with the checkout process rather than the customers.
I've now had to involve my bank to cancel the recurring payment authority and dispute the charges because I no longer have confidence that simply asking the company to cancel everything will stop future payments.
I would strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing from this company to read every screen and every piece of fine print extremely carefully, and to check their bank statements regularly for recurring charges.

As per many others here, found myself paying a monthly subscription which I don't believe I signed up to. I'm normally pretty savvy to things like this so am inclined to believe the sign up process isn't obvious or transparent (again, as backed up by the number of similar complaints here).
Edit - Responding to everyone on here with the same "email us and we'll look into it" is not the answer; you need to look at why it is so many people feel this way and make your policies clearer. We can see from older comments that you won't do anything in response to an email so I won't waste my time.

I needed help canceling a subscription I didn’t remember I had. After sending an email to support I found the subscription and cancelled it. Within just a few minutes of sending my email someone at support wrote back and said they had also cancelled it. This was excellent customer service!!
