I've ordered before, and it always goes smoothly. The order always arrives quickly. This time, something didn't go as planned. The package was briefly lost via DPD, but Bottle of Italy resolved the issue promptly. The order arrived a week later because of this. But it was resolved perfectly! Thank you very much. Sometimes things can go wrong, but that wasn't Bottle of Italy's fault, but the carrier's. I can imagine that things do go wrong sometimes, considering how many packages DPD ships daily.
I am happy. The product arrived surprisingly quickly, was securely packaged and in good condition.
The company delivered my order after 2 weeks after multiple follow ups with a patchy customer service. Find a place that delivers on time.

Excellent packaging and delivery! I will order again.
I placed an order five weeks ago and was patient at first when they said they were waiting for items from their supplier — fair enough. But then they sent me a tracking number that never moved for over two weeks, while ignoring every single email I sent.
When I finally asked to cancel the order and get a refund, they didn’t reply — instead they created a new order with the same products I’d already paid for, and started sending the same “waiting for supplier” emails all over again.
I’ve now had to initiate a chargeback through my bank because they’ve gone completely silent. I’ve sent 10+ emails and several Facebook messages without a single response.
This company is unserious, dishonest, and completely unresponsive. Save yourself the headache — order from a real business that actually delivers what you pay for. If I could give 0 stars I would.

This was my first time using Bottle of Italy and unfortunately it has not gone well. I ordered 6x bottles of Montepulciano on the 12th September and accepted the shipping cost of +£45 for sending goods to my UK home address.
We took delivery from UPS on Thursday 2nd October but we were only sent for 1x box with just two bottles of the wine ordered.
I emailed them the same day requesting support but have only received a holding email response stating someone would be in contract within 24-48 hours. I appreciate they are moving facilities as well but all the order/delivery paperwork lists 6x bottles in total so I cannot see how only 2x were packed and shipped.
Still no response from them to date so I may have to take this through Consumer Act 75 to get a resolution.

Quick and easy! Our wines were delivered to The Netherlands within a week, were packed carefully and taste amazing.
This is my third time ordering and everything went great. Very good products at a fair price and fast shipping. What more could you want? I will order again soon!
After two weeks from the payment still no product arrived. I opened a ticket but remained unanswered. No phone number available to reach them. It is a very frustrating experience for the customers. EDIT: the product arrrived 1 month after the payment, will not buy again from them

The packaging was excellent.
Really disappointing experience. No shipment took place. It turns out that one of the wines I ordered was not in stock but I was never notified. Several emails were exchanged to confirm the order and delivery date/destination but I was never notified of out of stock wine until 13 days after ordering (and 4 days after the agreed outside delivery date). Nothing was shipped even though a partial shipment could have been made timely.

Ordered 6 bottles of liquor at Bottle of Italy, worth over €190, on the 25th of July, to be shipped to the Netherlands. As of August 6th, DPD tracking stopped showing updates, only mentioning "your package could not be delivered". After several visits to the pick-up point, just to double check whether it had not been delivered there, I contacted Bottle of Italy.
What follows is a lengthy discussion where Bottle of Italy hides itself between BRT, the Italian counterpart of DPD, while the tracking link which they provided themselves clearly shows the package is lost. It's now a month later, and they still refuse to send a new shipment and/or to provide a refund. Instead, a form needs to be filled out, after which the customer is asked to wait another 15 days before a solution can be proposed. That's 1.5 month after the order date.
A classic example of an e-commerce merchant focused on policies and on avoiding liability, with no focus on customer service at all. Avoid Bottle of Italy if you expect any kind of service!
