Borough Wines began life as a small stall on London’s Borough Market in 2002. Today there are eight Borough Wines Shops London–wide, with another in the seaside town of Hastings. Our wholesale arm Borough Wines Imports supplies the on–trade and independent retailers, including over ten Borough Wines Corners nationwide. The range is still handpicked, but now contains over three hundred wines—including a number of natural, organic and biodynamic bottles—as well as a diverse selection of local and international craft beers and boutique spirits. Borough Wines also pioneered the environment (and wallet!) friendly wine and beer refill system.

For oenophiles and bibliophiles
Great idea a good read and fun to taste the wines. Arrived quickly and drunk quickly with my wife one evening. Still reading the book which is a good read, The selection of wines was appropriate. Unfortunately one had leaked in transit so a reminder to the person filling it to tighten the screw top

Limited but highly reliable wine list.
Now over some covid-related bumpiness in distribution. And the usually excellent and (vitally) reliable choice of wines. I reckon it’s a retail business informed by a wholesale business success supplying to professional sommeliers - so not all marketing-led like other vintners who mostly focus on retail.

Borough Wines are very good
Borough Wines are very friendly and offer really good advice about your wine request. If there are any problems in getting the wines you requested, Borough Wines will contact you to tell you what cannot be used. Borough Wines will then advise what they think is a good replacement. Delivery is also very quick from when you place your order.
