I knew I wanted a particular meat hamper. Selecting the delivery date was not easy, and I.made a mistake, but the rest of the website was fine. I had a chat with the bot and the mistake was corrected with a prompt email from a human. I have never had fresh food delivered, and I was a bit nervous. No need to be. Food arrived chilled, well packed and exactly like I would choose in a supermarket, with long expiry dates. I would have preferred a knock to say the package was delivered rather than leaving it on the doorstep as it is food.

Do not order from here/ delivery times are complete lies!! I ordered something with the promise of next day delivery which is a gift and I needed it to arrive on time. It’s now 5 days later still no sign of the gift unable to talk to a human only an AI bot response. Avoid at all costs if you want your item to be delivered!!

This company keeps trying to have my negative review removed - this time for hate speech because telling people what they're actually getting is upsetting.
Bought my husband the beer and snacks Advent Calendar. Do not waste your time or money on this.
It arrived about a week and a half after the stated delivery date but unfortunately in time for December 1st. Would have been better if it hadn't turned up at all.
The snacks are honestly vile. The chicken skin scratching or whatever - I guess a chicken version of pork crackling smelled exactly like a small animal enclosure. Aka guinea pig poop. Didn't taste any better than it smelled either. Protein bar had no taste, sour cream pretzels were bland, almonds and something else? Didn't even try them. A large jar of olives 7 days in. Curry flavoured everything that somehow still had no taste.
The beer was just as gross as the snacks. Was a waste of money. Go buy a 24 pack of beer and save yourself throwing out 99% of this.

Can't fault these guys. I thought the treat box I ordered was vegan friendly. When it arrived realised my mistake and contacted their support team. Thank you Alan. Slight mishap with refund as a had order a second item too, but it was resolved in seconds, again thanks to Alan
Would I order again, YES, delivery is quick, the presentation box is lovely and in all the experience was brilliant

Paid for next day delivery on Friday. It’s now Sunday and doesn’t look like it’s turning up. Absolutely disgusting customer service
I had an issue with substituted items. I wasn’t happy, but customer service called me and resolved the problem. The delivery is quick which is also a plus.
I ordered a 60th birthday hamper for my sister which didn’t arrive within the allotted timescale. To compound the problem despite numerous attempts to contact customer services via e-Mail, chatbox and messaging service, it was impossible to get any response at all about the missed delivery. Eventually, a response was received 48 hours after raising the problem; but this was too late, as we had already had to make a trip to John Lewis’s to put together our own hamper so that we had a gift for the birthday celebrations.
We did receive an apology and an explanation from FodaBox. Apparently a member of staff had been looking into the problem but had failed to acknowledge any of our communications. We were also offered a £10 gift voucher.
I'm a regular customer but won't be ordering again any time soon as our experience was extremely frustrating and time consuming. I would add that FodaBox do not have a phone number for customer service which makes dealing with urgent communication problem such as this more difficult to resolve.
Ordered a 95th birthday cake for my mum. Was offered 31st December as a delivery date which was great as her birthday was January 2nd. £49.95 in total. I was unable to contact the company on the 30th and waited anxiously all day on the 31st. No cake. Having finally found a tracking link it showed as ‘not dispatched’. It’s absolutely the worst time to try to find an alternative and to make matters worse it’s quite possibly my mum’s last birthday. Wouldn’t recommend Fodabox and now waiting for a refund, an apology and an explanation.
Give them their due I received a refund, a £10 voucher and an explanation. A supplier let them down and though it doesn’t excuse the disappointment we also received the said cake today (January 10th) and it was lovely.
Ordered two wedding cakes. We needed vegan and gluten free cakes and found that Fodabox could deliver both. The cakes were very reasonable in price and delivery was really quick. The wording on the cakes didn’t meet our exact requirements but that wasn’t a problem. I spoke to a really helpful gentleman called Alan who was really great. He took the details of the wording and passed information to the bakers.
When the cakes came there was a slight issue but again Alan sorted it out super quickly and efficiently and the problem was resolved.I can’t fault their customer experience and would definitely use them again. The cakes were lovely and tasty too. Thanks Fodabox and Alan.
Do not order from here. Paid for the box but it never arrived and no response from customer service.
The box I ordered from them was fine but they have just started sending me spam emails when I never asked to be on any mailing lists.
I was so disappointed consider the cost of the chocolate box was over £30 I didn’t expect a lot more. You got 8 bars but they were not all different ones some were the same. I ordered 2 boxes for separate presents and it all came in 1 box they sent me another box but it was a flat black box with a next day delivery sticker on it and tape over the front so I was not able to use it. Just be careful if you are going to use this company. I won’t be using them again.
Do not recommend this company. Ordered something as a gift for Christmas - the website said it would arrive on time, it’s not even made it by New Year’s Eve. Hopeless
First time ordering from their website and from all different items maybe 1 item tasted nice (nuts)
Avoid. Very disappointing. I specified a date for the gift to be delivered to a friend on their birthday. Being overly organised, I arranged the delivery weeks prior, but instead of following my order details and delivering it on the specified date, they delivered it early. 3 weeks early. My friend isn’t even in the country at the moment so the contents will likely be spoiled by the time she returns, not to mention no surprise for her birthday.
When contacting Support over this they clearly didn’t care that they’d messed up.
I ordered a Christmas dinner for my elderly parents. The advertising claimed it was all vac packed fresh ready to heat on Christmas Day. When it arrived it was frozen solid. The packaging said not suitable for freezing which caused confusion and implied the product had been inadvertently frozen in transit. Needless to say my parents were then afraid to eat it.
On contacting the company they said their products were dispatched frozen to defrost in transit. At no point during advertising or ordering did they say this.
Don’t waste your money
Bought a Christmas cake which cost £35.00 plus delivery. Quality wasn’t good and several family members didn’t like it at all. I could have bought something much nicer locally for half the price. Won’t be using again.
