Order an item through the website, the item was to small, I asked the retailer for a refund, they said they only have a 30 day return policy, on borderfree website it says all merchants have agreed to a 90 day policy, the retailer said contact borderfree, borderfree said contact the retailer. Do not order from this site
Hassle Free
Bought from Kendra Scott in America. I was reluctant reading reviews, but had no communication issues when checking order had been received, was able to track & delivered on time.
I think maybe some of the reviews on here should be directed at the companies they are purchasing from rather than Borderfree.
Hoping to use again soon, so hopefully will have the same experience.
Ordered a number of items from the US…
Ordered a number of items from the US to Aus. Those coming with DHL were here within a week but the rest took a month. One item was clearly not what I had ordered and so far their response has been 'Once we receive the merchandise back in the warehouse, we will process the refund'... but have not provided any way of returning it.
Absolute rubbish
Absolute rubbish. Bought a suit and they delivered the wrong one. Not only the wrong one but jacket and pants don’t match. Tried contacting them multiple times via email and phone but no response and the 30 day complaint period expired with still no response. $500 down the drain.

What a joke - order fancy lady shoes and received ugly men’s joggers - ordered through Macy’s but when confirmation comes through it’s from Borderfree - complaints process not clear. Don’t recommend.

Ordered from Nordstrom to ship to uk. Never heard of Borderfree until after my order was placed. My package has been out for delivery for 11 days and suddenly Nordstrom aren’t replying to any emails about updated. Shambles

Absolutely the worst shipping company to have ever existed and yet they have major Brands/Companies under theyre belt. Nearly a Month to get a delivery. Why am i paying for this type of service? I could have flown to the USA and back or even walked faster.
Then ontop if its the wrong items u have to wait just as long to get a refund or to start the process of the refund which is past the due date. HOW ARE THEY IN BUSINESS????
Superb service
I wanted to buy a couple of tops from Vineyard Vines who work with Borderfree.
Items arrived within a couple of weeks and delivered by Royal Mail this morning.
Will definitely used again.
Worst shipping experience ever!
Since there isn't an option for a negative, I will give a one star review for this company. Well this company doesn't get any better, again they have stated they never received an order I placed on Sept. 28th, but the funny thing is they took the money!!! So if you want to buy something, never receive it and have a company take the money from you, not respond to store inquiries, then this is the company to use. No phone numbers, no shipment confirmations ever sent, no contact info this company to speak to someone. Who uses a company you cannot contact??? Appalling!
Borderfree/Saks Fifth Avenue disreputable
I placed an order with Borderfree/Saks Fifth Avenue. The order took a month to arrive. I then had to return which is when the real problems started. The return was sent back promptly and received into Saks. Several phone calls and emails told me my refund would be processed in 7-14 days but it took one month to get my money back. They do not respond and when you phone Saks they told me I had to return the item in person even though I’m in Australia. Terrible customer service and very dodgy.

Since August 4th 2023, I have spent numerous hours working on my returns and refunds to Eileen Fisher through BorderFree. What a slow process! After yet another phone call to the vendor last week, I Finally! got an email today September 12, 2023 from Eileen Fisher - and BorderFree to advise my final refund is approved and my money will be refunded. I had to keep on it to get this result.
In this conversation about the last outstanding refund, I asked Eileen Fisher customer service: Do I the customer have a choice to NOT go through BorderFree when shopping on line for Eileen Fisher. Their answer was No.
I Learned that on any online shopping experience- how useful it is to have paper copies of your order with the ender logo and order number and their customer service 1800 number. And also to have copies of the Borderfree confirmation email and tracking number for deliveries and returns. Kept these paper copies in a file for your online orders. It makes for a quick reference when you really need it.
Then patience and politeness are the rule. You cannot talk to Borderfree. You always address your concern to the vendor. Patience! Politeness! A quality vendor like Eileen Fisher will help you. You will get refunded. But! After this experience and reading the reviews of the experiences of others not so fortunate with other vendors, would I ever do online business with mandatory requirement to ship with Borderfree? No! I would not! I’d rather chew on nails.
Buyer Beware
Buyer Beware - if you see the name BorderFree, don't expect to get your refund back. I bought an item through Saks and they used BorderFree to get the item to me in Canada. I returned my item (within the allowable timeframe) and the shipment was received by BorderFree however the payment has not be released (I know of this info through the MANY calls I had with Saks representatives - totalling almost 9). Saks and BorderFree can't seem to get in touch with each other either - I literally bought this dress 11 months ago, have yet to receive a refund - so far only a 50 dollar gift card to say sorry for the trouble. This is actually insane - I feel like they are waiting for me to get tired of calling them. Such bad customer service, do not recommend ever. Terrible company, Terrible vendor, terrible terrible terrible.

I placed an order with Eileen Fisher. Borderfree took the payment from my bank account immediately but Eileen Fisher have no record of the order. Borderfree will not engage and direct me back to Eileen Fisher. I’ve had to raise a dispute claim with my bank to try and get my money back.
Exceeded my expectations
I recently purchase from Dr Martens to be shipped to UAE, after I placed the order, that was when I realize that it was through a third party which is Borderfee. I was really worried seeing reviews from other customer and there was nothing the I can do but to wait. My order was shipped over a week and was received in an excellent condition as well as earlier than expected. I would 100% order again in the future.
