Scam ! No help at all
I’ve rented a holiday for 7 days , £800 with beautiful pictures and clean and nice , all you expect. So I didn’t make my expectations up , there was actually nice pictures taken.
When I got the property I’ve notice there was cockroaches in kitchen cupboards and contacted the host myself who said they never had cockroaches before and a treatment has been made (although there was a killer spray in the house , why the treatment if there was no sign of cockroaches )
Also the swimming pool was absolutely , dirty , broken and not manned , there was no one to talk about this issues.
This case has starting to build up regarding the cockroaches ,till this morning that was one on my toothbrush so I rang booking.com and advised to ring bookiply. When I found that actually bookiply would be behind the issues they were no helpful at all. They did contact the owner but the owner said he would give me £60 for compensation. Which I didn’t accept.
Let’s be honest I left the property 3 days before £60 is not even covering one night stay, I felt they were trying to brush the problem with “that’s all we can do “ “legally we can’t do anything “
surely if the house isn’t fit for purpose and you have to leave before your scheduled holiday someone can do something or guide you or help you. But forget it with this company !
All they do is contact the host which everyone can do so don’t bother renting from this company !
The operator was the same from beginning to end and his costumer service is shocking , he Also closed the case within 8 hours window because I didn’t reply.

I initially booked an amazing apartment in the Dolomites and then cancelled due to wrongly assuming the place was still available for booking and worried that I was being taken for a ride. Lisa was kind and patient, and most importantly, helped me rebook without losing my initial deposit. What really doesn't work is that for a booking in my house holidaymakers of 2800 euros for me for 12 days.. the holidaymakers have to pay 1000 euros commission. This is not fair, they are just stealing the money from our clients.

OPERATOR THAT TRAPS CUSTOMER: Bookiply/Munich webpage sold flat where "Pets Not Allowed " ! My daughter Louise & her friend Hetty, their children (two girls & one boy), rented flat 3 at Calle Puerto Alto 11, Estepona, Spain, for two weeks from 27/07/23, and cost was Euros 3850.00 !!
The "fully equipped flat" sold by Bookiply was extremely dirty with cat's hairs, faeces & dirty toys that produced allergic reactions to two members of the group plus to the Spanish cleaner who was brought in. They all worked for 5 hours to clean the place. Some of the infested rugs & other equipment had to be disposed off. Rusty airers to dry cloths. Group arrived at airport and Louise was told on the telephone to come to a chemist in Estepona near the apartment to collect the keys. If she had accepted that, they would have had to carry the bags up a hill to get to the Complex ( it was very hot & they had been up since 4am!) Louise refused and Bookiply agent, Miss Toro, came to the flat instead. The place appeared abandoned and there were also animal faeces just outside the flat. At the entrance to the Complex a big sign said "No Pets Allowed" but that was to no avail. Arrived at the flat 14:30 hours and started suffering of allergy. The cleaner who came to help my daughter, also suffered from allergic reaction and had never been there before. At the end, they tried to get a shower as they were very dirty, but could only get cold water. No Instructions whatsoever as to how to use the electrical devices. Only two bed rooms had air conditioning & one of these units had water spilling over electric cables at the back. There were spider's webs even inside the kitchen drawers. Sleeping quality, for some, was jeopardized by the dirt in the air and the lack of air-conditioning. Some of the pans were broken. Not enough chairs for a group of 5 !! The electricity supply was weak as it would go off if a person was using the shower. The boiler had parts hanging out. No oven in the kitchen and the micro-wave had no proper tray and they had to use normal plates to warm food. No touristic information was available as well as no instructions about the flat's electric devices. No First Aid Kit & No Complaint Forms as required by the Andalucia Council (decree 28/2016). Louise sent a formal complaint (in Spanish) to the Junta de Andalucia (Council). We await their reply.
The wi-fi did not work on the first days and only after constant complaints was that sorted. After one week's stay Miss Toro brought replacement bed linen that was left outside the flat until we left. We have pictures of most of these failures. Their Customer Service person, Mr Jorge Castillo said that the owner has offered No compensation and Bookiply could not do anything about it because the Contract was between the owner & the clients. But Bookiply refuses to give out the name of the owner because of “ data protection law”. So, we’re trapped. Will write to the German Ombudsman for Travel. Carlos Simas (father of Louise)

we used a property managed by bookiply, and booked through Airbnb for one week. During the entire stay there was a cleaning lady, provided by them, and a nanny, also provided by them. We checked out without any issue, the house was left impeccably, we even took out the garbage and cleaned the kitchen before leaving. A week later we received a request for a refund for having apparently ruined 16 different items in the house. chairs, sofas, pillows, sofa covers, sheets. ruined all at once. naturally there was no supporting evidence other than some pictures of some stained sheets, that could have been taken anywhere, there was no pictures of the house or nothing. we are DISGUSTED by this type of behaviours. trying to take advantage of tourists after they have left. this company should never be used. it's a scam

I am an owner that uses Bookiply to rent my villa in Mallorca. Bookiply have informed me of a booking made by a guest for dates that are not available, I immediately notified Bookiply but received no reply, over two weeks have gone by and I have sent 5 emails and also WhatsApps but still no reply. I feel really bad for the guest who thinks he has a booking but does not and has the right to be informed immediately, a totally unacceptable situation caused by a totally unprofessional company: Bookiply.
If you are a guest I strongly recommend that you go directly to the channels and not through Bookiply.
These guys are crooks
These guys are crooks, avoid using them at all costs. When due to cancelled flights we believed it was going to be impossible to get to our villa they refused to refund us but kindly advised us to cancel and gave us back the cleaning. When we found a way to get to our villa but with a couple of days knocked off the 7 day holiday, they refused to reinstate the booking, saying we had to pay again. We arranged to get to the villa directly with the owner and despite no longer having a booking, they charged us the cleaning fee again anyway- talk about wanting to have your cake and eat it! Trying to recharge for the same holiday is illegal. We will be reporting Bookiply to the financial ombudsman.
Unresponsive, unhelpful, dubious
I rented a property in Sardinia via airbnb with bookiply acting as the 'host'. Due to sudden changes to our itinerary (cancellation of ferry crossing to Sardinia due to severe weather) I had to amend the booking dates using the airbnb online tool. In parallel, I was in contact with the actual owner of the property via WA who was understanding of the situation and very accommodating. Bookiply, however, was unresponsive to my request and messages - it took them 36 hours to reply and then only to say, 'we are currently experiencing high volumes of requests'. Four unanswered messages, and communication with the airbnb service desk, later I cancelled the booking. A response from Patricia arrived swiftly within 30 minutes blaming the unit owner. She quickly closed the thread to avoid further communication.
I strongly suspect Bookiply was trying to run down the clock to avoid having to refund my booking fees. In any case, a highly unprofessional business. I will most definitely stay away from any rentals that are affiliated with Bookipy in future.
Very bad location and description
This company posted a description of the accommodation and indicated the wrong location, did it on bookingcom. As a result, the difference between the actual location of the property and what was in the description is 1.5 for the worse. We have not accepted it, but they still have not return payment and keep it. Very problem communication, no response tel or email.

Booked an apartment through Bookply, didn’t provide an address so I could book a transfer, the App I was told to download told me to check my email for details which I didn’t receive even in my spam! Called and spoke to a polite and helpful guy who said he would email me all the details. Opened the email to find co ordinate’s instead of an address!! Absolute joke, luckily after contacting the owner he provided details of a couple who manage the property and they provided me with an address. Although I did receive a text the day before travel providing me with the owners phone number to call him for details!! The whole process was a joke, lovely apartment, lovely area, just bookply and Holidu that were the issue.

Incompetance & poor operation and customer service
this company i use for letting but so far only one let in a year, slow to respond, today i found that my calendar has been booked multiple times by a company i didn't know existed and bookiply tell me i must contact them for the calendar problems, when i checked further i found that the calendar that is causing the problems is actually a bookiply calendar, i am far from happy! Cant contact them even in emergency! They have effectively closed my business, do not use them, it will be best in the long run!!
Security deposit scam

You have fraudulent people taking bookings via your site. I along with my wife, daughter and niece stayed at Caterine Estate Positano from 30/6/23-4/7/23. Booking reference is 2157681348. After paying for the accommodation via bookiply we were then harassed to pay a 300 euro security deposit via PayPal to the manager. His number is +498938034138. PayPal reference stennalb
We left the apartment immaculate even though it is very old and under need of serious repairs. We were electrocuted by the washing machine and dryer when we went to use them so we couldn’t do any washing while we were there. The apartment didn’t have any bowls or a toaster and one shower was so mouldy we couldn’t use it. The PowerPoints were all loose and we were nervous to use them.
We contacted the manager on 20/7/23 and asked for our security deposit to be returned. He came back to us almost immediately and said the owners said that we broke a chair leg and sent us an old looking photo. We definitely did not break anything and made that very clear to the manager. He said for us to just wear this and next time we stay we will get a big discount. We were both shocked as we are very honest people who would have reported any damage and would have offered to pay for its repair. It definitely is a scam these people are doing and I’m sure your company would not condone this. We are only asking for our security deposit to be returned even though we should also ask for a refund due the the condition of the apartment and how dangerous it is.
Please support us with this and we will definitely be following this up with bookiply until we get a resolution.
