When I was signing up for this book recommendation app, I was very pleasantly surprised to see that we are given the choices of Woman ♀, Man ♂, and Non-binary (the latter has a cute rainbow shape made of lines). It also gives a fourth option of 'Prefer not to say' (something which should ALWAYS be an option - we don't all feel safe revealing our gender online).
THANK YOU for embracing gender-divergent people into your service!!! I won't give 5 stars just yet, as I haven't used the app. But I thought a 4-star rating and this review will show others that you are an accepting space for LGBTQ+ people, and perhaps more people under the rainbow umbrella will be motivated to join (and keep bigoted people away too). In this day and age, when there is an increasing amount of hate directed towards non-cisgender humans, this is the kind of thing that is an important first step in combating intolerance! 🤗
