Had the worst possible experience with this company. They cancelled my booking with a day’s notice (apparently, they sent an email to let me know, which I never received). They seem to be running out of New Zealand, so there isn’t even a phone number you can call. After they took over £200 my money, cancelled my booking and made no real effort to contact me, I sent them an email demanding a refund and they could not have been ruder in their reply. Completely appalling service. Don’t go near them - just contact the skip hire company directly.

Ordered 15th July for 16th July Delivery.

Its 23rd, still nothing arrived, £380 down

Go directly to a skip hire company!

I booked a skip for a set date and paid online. On the morning of, the company that BookASkip had used told me they had no availability. Unfortunately it was the only day I was available as I was leaving the city the following day so my plans were COMPLETELY messed up. It seems BookASkip just book you in with anyone without knowing if they can even do the job. They also charge extra (going with the company directly would have saved me £35).
You would be much better off booking direct with someone! Skip hire is pretty straight forward anyway so don't bother wasting time with BookASkip.

Used these people before and all ok. Booked another skip on 07 April for delivery today and allocated company had no idea and has even closed their account with them... no phone number, not registered on waste broker register.. had to call bank to raise dispute and it has been passed onto fraud department for investigation...

Wish I read the reviews before ordering. Skip didnt turn up. Supplier had no knowledge and tolf me to contact bookaskip. Bookaskip offline . There worring T& C probably means I'm shafted
Supplier will endeavour to deliver refuse skips on the agreed delivery dates but neither bookaskip nor Supplier will be liable for any failure or delay in delivery except as provided in clause 8. Late delivery does not entitle you to cancel any order or part order.

Booked a skip through this company online, I received a receipt for payment and the details of the company that where supposed to be providing the skip. On the day of delivery I contact the said company and they had no knowledge of the booking and where not providing my the skip. I then had to contact my bank to ensure payment was not taken. My advice would be to contact companies direct to ensure there is no middle man mess.

Utterly useless. Booked a skip through their website bookaskip.co.uk. Skip didn’t arrive so called the skip company directly that were booked via comparison site. Skip company had no details of the booking and hadn’t heard of the company. Then told me they don’t even deliver to my area as it’s too far away. Feel like bookaskip.co.uk have scammed me by taking payment and not delivering the goods now have to try and get my money back. No phone number listed on their website. Avoid avoid avoid !
