Seel purchase protection ….???

What has happened to boohoo? I made an order and an extra charge of £2.99 was on there.. for Seel purchase protection??? I never agreed to that at all. On messaging boohoo 3 hours later ,as that’s when I looked at my email, they said I could not cancel the charge! They said it’s obvious at checkout to remove!?? If I’d known about it I’d never have used it! This must be very new!?? Surely I’m not the only one? I feel annoyed about it as bought £5.99 free delivery for the year too.

They just keep coming back with the same message. “It is working its way through the system” , but no refund.

Worst company ever

Worst company ever. I got a wrong order. They didnt respond for weeks. Sometimes they did and then nothing for weeks again. One is saying its my fault for not e-mailing sober, the 28 days to claim are over, and the other keeps asking for the pictures of the wrong order and then not responding again and when I keep emailing the start at the beginning al over again. Ive been trying since last year november. Never again, its horrible

Scammers!!

Scammers!!! When you buy they say that returns are free but finally they cost half price of items! Awful customer service, they never respond. So better forget them forever and through out their poor quality clothes!

Gift card as default on BooHoo…

Recently purchased items from Boohoo I returned some of the items. I was sent a gift card which they are saying I chose instead of a refund to my original payment method.
I can confirm that I didn't select anything, i wasn't even aware you had to select your refund. I have always had my refund sent back to my original payment method.
Why would I choose a gift card? I wouldn't choose this even if I knew I had a choice.
I've gone back onto my return and I can't even see where you can choose an option it just says your refund will go onto a gift card so appears to me that this is a default method to not not give you a refund. I will no longer be shopping with boohoo. I suggest people be weary of this when trying to return items to Boohoo.

Do NOT order here!!!! They steal from you!!!

I returned my order exactly as instructed and even received an email from Boohoo on 6 December confirming that my return was received. Despite this, my return was never processed and I am now being chased by Klarna for €58, as if I did something wrong.

I have provided all possible proof: return confirmation, tracking, and their own email acknowledging receipt. Still no refund, no proper response, and no solution. Instead, the customer bears the stress, the risk of extra costs, and threats of payment deadlines — all due to their internal failure.

This is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. Customers should not have to fight to avoid paying for items that were properly returned and acknowledged. I will escalate this matter further if it is not resolved immediately.

Think twice before ordering here — returns clearly cannot be trusted.

SCAM ARTISTS - AVOID

In August I placed an order and when the clothes arrived they were such awful quality that the majority had to be returned. The online returns portal was not working, so after many failed attempts, I reached out via thier text service. The agent arranged the return, I EXPLICITLY said I wanted the refund to my original payment method, not a gift card. I returned the items and then a week later I received, you guessed it, a gift card. I have all of this in text evidence. After trying to reach out several times, they finally got back to me saying that I myself had selected the gift card. They literally could not understand that their own agent had processed the return for me, either that or they simply didn’t care. I have just gone to use the gift card for £49.18 so that it didn’t go to waste, only to find that they are only valid for 90 days?! HOW CAN THEY PLACE A TIME LIMIT ON A GIFT CARD FROM A REFUND!!! What a bunch of scam artists, I am absolutely disgusted. They had all of the items back from me, THEY processed the refund incorrectly, and now it’s gone. I have paid £50 for items I do not have. Avoid like the plague, the customer service is non existent, the refund policy is a complete scam, and the clothes are awful quality in the first place.. save yourself the hassle and buy from somewhere more reputable.

Can someone please contact me

Can someone please contact me? I can only get through via text message and have yet to speak to a human. I placed and order and received the order delivery update and received the items. No confirmation email of order, just a welcome to Boohoo email even though I previously ordered from them. I have an account bit the app is not allowing me to access my account. When I reset my password I am still unable to access my account. I have items to return and unable to return them as I haven’t got my order details and I don’t have access to my account.

Never using again

Parcel had correct address but wrong postcode , surely driver who was delivering parcels from elsewhere to same address could see it was for this address. Or googled correct postcode , no reply or help from customer service , will use very Instead from now on

do not use this crap

NEVER !! NEVER! try to return anything, no responses to email, even whatsapp messages just get sent to customer services and then... nothing again! even if they were giving stuff away I wouldn't use these idiots again

You just go round and round in circles! I still have items I need to return from mid september but cant get an answer

I thgink they have one person in customer services who is off sick most of the time

Delivered wrong address

I won't order from them again
I made an order for a pair of jeans shorts
Once I filled all my details on
I had a choice of a drop down menu for my Address
I submitted the order
2 weeks later I has a email from Evri saying we have delivered your parcel
With a photo door way and person.
This was not me for some reason it was a London Address same road name but over 100 miles away.
How this happened I don't know but I managed bto chat to boohoo explaining
I finally heard after a few days
I explained what happened
They refused to resend and give me a refund too
Said I had to travel over 100 to receive my order
This would of cost me so much more than the cost of the item
So someone has my jean shorts I paid for
They refused a to resend as the address submitted was my fault
A genral mistake from the drop down menu
Normally it would list your whole roads numbers
Mistakes happen
But also refused a refund too
I will order ever again

Should I not receive it immediately I will commence legal action through the small claims court . I will sue you for the court application fees of £70 . Section 75 credit card act can chase your company for false advertising- in relation to your illegal returns polices .
Are you aware it is illegal to withhold refunds for weeks on end

Absolutely disgusted with refund…

Absolutely disgusted with refund process. Send over £100 worth of clothes back, only received £30 refund after nearly a month.
I'm now hoping and waiting to get further £70 after they'll check cctv which sounds absolutely ridiculous as all my items were send back in one bag. They want to see how many items I've returned on camera, good luck. I just hope to get my money back and I'll never ever shop with them again. Avoid!!!!!!

I am extremely disappointed with…

I am extremely disappointed with Boohoo’s refund process and overall customer service. I returned my items weeks ago and have still not received my refund. I’ve tried reaching out numerous times, but all I receive are generic, automated responses from an AI system that provides no actual help or resolution.

There is no clear way to speak with a real person, and it feels like Boohoo is deliberately avoiding accountability. This lack of support is incredibly frustrating and completely unacceptable.

If I do not receive my refund soon, I will be taking this matter further and reporting it to Trading Standards. Customers deserve better than this.

FINAL WARNING – Refund Still Not Received (Order MUK120547103

It is now July 7th, 2025. You started my refund on June 15th and promised it would be returned by June 20th. It has been over three weeks, and I have not seen a single cent in my account. Enough is enough.

I have contacted you again and again through Instagram, iMessage, Live Chat, Facebook, and WhatsApp. Instead of actually helping me, your team sends the same worthless copy-paste replies over and over, then has the nerve to block me on Instagram. This is disgraceful and completely unacceptable.

You blamed a supposed payment dispute with my bank — I already confirmed with my bank that there is no issue on my side. That excuse is dead.

Why is my money still missing? Why are you ignoring me while you hold on to my refund? This is beyond unprofessional; it is disrespectful and feels like fraud.

I demand a straight answer, right now, with a specific date when my refund will hit my account. If you do not resolve this immediately, I will escalate this publicly and through legal action. You are leaving me no other choice, and I will not back down.

Your company’s mishandling of this refund has worsened my health while I’m under medical treatment, and you will be held responsible if this continues.
