Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 30 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people were dissatisfied with the products, finding them to be of poor quality, not as advertised, and often made from cheap materials like plastic instead of the described fabrics. Customers also reported issues with the pricing, feeling that the items were overpriced for their actual value and could be found much cheaper elsewhere. The refund process was a major source of frustration, with many struggling to receive their money back even after numerous promises. The return policy was also heavily criticized, as customers were often required to send items back to China at their own expense, incurring significant shipping costs, and sometimes the returned parcels were not even delivered or processed.

I wish there was an option of NO stars

I wish there was an option of NO stars. Please do not buy from this company. They are scammers. Learn from the experience of others - I wish I had.
The pictures make the items look beautiful but they are NOT the item you will receive! I won’t be wearing the dish cloth they sent! I’d be too embarrassed.
Absolutely shameful that they can get away with it! We must stop these scammers from taking our money!

This company claim to be in Bristol

This company claim to be in Bristol - they are actually in China. The item ordered arrived eventually but was of very poor quality and I wanted to return it, which is when I discovered the company was in China. It cost £20 to send it back and I suspect I have just sent good money after bad - do not buy from them. Incidentally, I reported them to facebook where they advertise and they weren't interested. Lesson learned

Con - avoid

The site is a con - the cosy jumper turned out to be a printed sweatshirt - 100% polyester "Made in China". I didn't see the reviews as it was labelled as Clara and Miles in Bristol not Bondbristol. I am usually so careful but a sucker for anything with a dachshund on it..........

I ordered from Clara and Miles Bristol . It is a total con please do not buy anything . You will wait for ages whilst it’s shipped from China , when it comes these are clearly “seconds “ or worse rejects. Once you receive goods no further contact , ignore emails and no other contact details

Badly made items

Badly made items. Still not got my refund months later despite promises from them. Please don’t bother you will be let down.
They are definitely not a high quality English brand as purporting to be. Probably made by a poor soul in a sweatshop somewhere. Wish I had read reviews before purchase

Scam

I ordered three jumpers advertised as cashmere in February this year from a company based in Bristol. The jumpers arrived. They were poorly made in cotton and the wrong size. I contacted Bond Bristol and was given an address in China to return the jumpers. I packed them and sent them to the address at a cost of £27 in March. The parcel was returned to me last month from China unopened. No reason was given. Bond Bristol are not answering my emails and I now understand the company is no longer trading. £100 down the swanee!!

Avoid like the plague

The company is a scam, do not buy from them. I ordered jumpers for my birthday and there were communication issues from the start. When my order finally arrived, the items did not match the descriptions and website images at all. They were cheaply made and instead of knitted designs, it was printed on cheap fabric. When I complained, I was sent a return address in China (not Bristol, UK as advertised online). The shipping cost an extra £30. The parcel was then returned to me six months later after sitting in customs for a while. I'm convinced this address is not valid. After all that, I received no refund, and now have the horrible jumpers back, and am down a further £30. Do not be fooled by their advertising or closing down sales. The images are stolen from other retailers and you will regret buying from them.

This company is a total scam

This company is a total scam and yet It is still advertising on Facebook.
I originally bought this item in February 2025. I had inadvertently ordered the wrong colour and asked for a refund. I returned the item on 21 March 2025 with tracking at £19.70, as requested I was constantly fobbed off with reasons why it was taking so long to get refund. Today, 5 months later, the item has been returned to me!!!

Excellent quality but failure to respond to queries

Unlike other commentors I had quite a positive experience with this company, in that the jumper I ordered arrived in a timely manner and was of excellent quality. My problem was that I didn't like the neck. There was nothing wrong with it just my personal preference. They asked me for a photo, and when I sent one they confirmed that all their jumpers have a similar neck but they told me that I could have a 100% refund AND keep the item, which I though odd, but I double checked and they confirmed this was the case. I am afraid I delayed a long time before reordering and by then I could not remember the cost of the original to offset against a new order. i wrote and asked them and only then did I find it impossible to get a response from them.

Don’t be fooled by their website

Was fooled by the quality of the website. When the items eventually arrived it was obvious that this was a sham of a company, an outlet for cheap merchandise. The items were not as advertised, the images looked nothing like the products that arrived and the sizing is too small.
I was promised a refund which never arrived even after numerous promises that my situation was important.
Don’t be fooled and waste your money. There are too many dubious enterprises like this one.

No refund on returned cardigan

My wife bought a cardigan from this company early in 2025. When it came it was badly made and didn't fit. We contacted Bond Bristol for their returns policy and to gain a refund. We were given an address in China to return the item. Foolishly we sent the cardigan to the address we were given, requesting a refund. It cost over £20! That was in February, and we heard no more until today (22nd July) when the parcel was returned with no explanation. We understand that Bond Bristol is no longer trading - we're not surprised!

I didn't even want to give this company…

I didn't even want to give this company a star as, whoever is running this company deserve nothing but criticism.
They rip people off, as the other reviews state, we were duped into the beautiful looking jumpers, they are not beautiful, bad quality and shocklingly made.
I feel disappointed in myself for falling for this.
I have emailed them and initially you get responses however I feel AI is responded, then offer of a discount. Stupidly I sent them to China but refused customs, still waiting for my refund...
DO NOT Buy YOU WILL BE SCAMMED BY THESE PEOPLE, how do they sleep at night!!!
Frustrated, disappointed scammed customer.

Crazy return policy…

Over a year ago the advertised that they were closing a branch and had these nice-loking sweaters so I ordered two. When they arrived the colours were very different from the photos and I discussed returning them. They had several ways of doing this and I chose to return the package to their address in China (or Japan?). The package arrived back in the post Yesterday!!! I'm not even sure what to do next.

First of all this is not a uk business…

First of all this is not a uk business that is selling off stock which is what it claimed. The jumpers I had were of really poor quality and came from China. I decided to return these at significant cost and they couldn’t be delivered to the address given. I then asked for a 50% refund as I didn’t have the jumpers to return. They said this was fine. This never happened and now I get no response at all to my emails. Please do not order from them you won’t get what you think you are getting.

Zero stars, complete scam do not buy!!!!!Poor quality not as advertised. The return address was printed on the package but would not accept when I returned to this address. Agreed to partial refund which 3 months on has not been received, despite regular emails to them.

Scam company

Scam company, thousands of them now. Trustpilot reviews on their site are fake so check reviews direct on Trustpilot first.
I was done for £80. I started a dispute with them through my bank, my bank reimbursed me. Bondbristol asked me to cancel my dispute with them "as this would help them out tremendously" 😂
AVOID, AVOID AVOID!!
Consumer affairs programe on Radio 4 covered the 1st victims of these scams in Sept 2024, called it the Cardigan scam. I heard it & still fell victim 🤦‍♀️
