Five years ago I bought several pairs of Bombas merino wool men's socks. The last pair just wore out this week. In Oregon we wore them year 'round, and they lasted for years. Four years ago I... See more

Overpriced and still messes up orders
Bombas charges a premium for its products, yet can't even fulfill orders correctly, and its customer service is generally unresponsive. I spent over $200 on an order that included a 6-pack of men's boxers and 4 pairs of socks. Not only did Bombas ship the order well after it was placed and with minimal information about why the shipping took so long, but then when the order was finally delivered nearly 2 weeks later the package only had 1 pair of socks and 3 boxers. A $200 order and they delivered less than half of it after 2 weeks. I used to be a big fan of their products but if there is not a refund for the missing items and additional follow-up by the company (and I'm not holding my breath), this will be the last time I ever consider buying from Bombas again.
50 bucks for 4 pairs and 3 week delivery
50 bucks for 4 pairs, plus shipping and 3 week delivery. What a joke. They try to appease you with some sort of BS about donating a pair with each order. Would love to see the audit of that
Ordered a 4 pack of socks and received…
Ordered a 4 pack of socks and received 1 pair. Trying to get hold of someone to make it right but no response by email and the telephone number provided for customer support takes me to a health insurance sales site.
To the Bombas support team, if you read these reviews, please get in touch to provide a solution and I will happily return to this site to update the review.
Great value
I have worn Bombas' 'Men's Originals Half Calf Sock' for about 4 years and they remain hole-free. While I have heard that for more extreme conditions (e.g., camping) Bombas socks acquire holes earlier than those of more expensive brands, when compared to socks from local stores Bombas' are ~3x more durable (I have found that Costco socks acquire holes after ~1 year of my regular use). Also, when I recently purchased more Bombas socks and there was a problem with delivery, Bombas fully refunded the order (including the shipping payment, even though the issue was due to the shipper and myself, not Bombas) and provided helpful instructions on how I can work with the shipper to get the socks delivered into my apartment.
I was surprised to find that there is…
I was surprised to find that there is no "fly" opening which is quite annoying. Then I noticed the elastic band that requires a lot of force to expand a small amount. That equates to either a loose fit or a constriction ring around your waste. Executive cost decisions can really destroy an otherwise good product.
UK customer here
UK customer here. Reading the other reviews, I guess I should be grateful that half of my order actually turned up within a month. Have lost hope of getting any sense (or socks) from this company.
Really wish I had read reviews before I…
Really wish I had read reviews before I ordered. Someone told me the underwear are great for running so thought I'd give them a try. I placed an order and paid extra for the expedited shipping. I needed them to try for a long training run this weekend. Fedex says package scanned in Indianapolis, and then....nothing. After a couple of days of nothing (past the expected delivery date) I send Bombas an email. Our email exchange was underwhelming, especially for a company that says it has a "happiness guarantee". Clearly the package wasn't moving but Bombas refused to send me another one, refused to contact Fedex. Finally Fedex declares the package lost and I email again, and they finally say they have refunded my money because afterall they have a happiness guarantee. Wow. Just wow. Terrible experience with customer service.
Socks don’t last more than 30-40 wears
They are comfortable it comes at an expensive cost for a 30-40 wear sock, lucky if I get a year out of a couple packs of them. Where I have older, cheaper sock the are slightly less comfortable going on 10+ years. I had taken a break from bombas because of quality issues and gave them another shot. Sad to say. Same issues
Orders 2 cancel in less than a month
I placed two orders in less than a month, and both were suddenly canceled without any explanation. Contacting them by phone or email is quite difficult. It's disappointing because the quality seems good, but the service is TERRIBLE.
If I could give no stars I would
If I could give no stars I would. On May 20, 2026 I bought Bombas sandals. They were extremely wide, so a smaller size wouldn't help. I requested a refund. That started a ridiculous number of worthless emails from someone named Jayson, never giving any concrete information, claiming to not know about my order, not answering questions. Weeks of this went by and I then called the company. Got the same guy on the phone (does only 1 person work there?) and demanded to know how and where to send the sandals back. I finally got instuctions, sent the sandals back a month ago, and have NOT received any refund. Stay away from this company. I will never order from them again. Horrible.
THEY HAD THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND…
THEY HAD THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NOW THEY HAVE OUTSOURCED.
The quality of care as well as the quality of communication is so poor.
The socks are also going WAY DOWN in quality.
I just had to replace my golf socks and was sent an email saying they need to be washed inside out, on cold and gentle as well as air dried! Really? Athletic socks.
Why continue using Ontrac for shipping Bombas???
Because Bombas uses some lowlife shipping provider called Ontrac this is the rating they receive since I cannot buy or receive bombas because of Ontrac. Would be 5 stars if I could actually receive a product I purchased.
Extremely Disappointing First…
Extremely Disappointing First Experience with Bombas
My first experience with Bombas has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.
I placed an order on June 11 and spent weeks trying to get basic information about when it would ship. After multiple inquiries, I was eventually told that a replacement order had been issued with expedited shipping due to the delay. Unfortunately, that replacement order also failed to move forward as promised. Throughout this process, I received repeated assurances that my item was in stock and would ship soon, only to continue waiting without updates. 1
What made the situation even worse was the lack of proactive communication. Had I not continued following up myself, I likely would never have learned that the replacement item was suddenly out of stock. After being told multiple times that the sandals were available and would ship, I was eventually informed that my original color was no longer available. That kind of inconsistency is unacceptable and demonstrates a serious breakdown in inventory management and customer communication. 1
While the customer service representatives were polite and apologetic, apologies alone do not make up for weeks of delays, conflicting information, and wasted time. Customers should not have to chase a company for updates or repeatedly ask for answers regarding an order that should have been fulfilled weeks earlier. 1
For a company that promotes a "100% Happiness Guarantee," this experience fell far short of that promise. Instead of receiving the product I ordered, I was left dealing with uncertainty, repeated follow-ups, and ultimately learning that the item I had been waiting for was unavailable after all.
This was my first purchase from Bombas, and unfortunately it will likely be my last. I cannot recommend a company that struggles so significantly with order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and customer communication.
quality issue
When asked about a quality issue, they wouldn’t respond. Their no shows are now a lower quality at the same price. There are plenty of other good sock companies out there. Bombas seems to think they are the only game in town. Let’s show them they aren’t!!!!!
**Bombas Socks – Hands Down the Best Socks I've Ever Owned**
I’ve tried just about every sock brand out there, and nothing comes close to Bombas. These are easily the best socks ever. From the very first wear, you notice the difference: the premium materials feel incredibly soft yet durable, the seamless toes eliminate that annoying rubbing and blistering, and the honeycomb arch support actually gives your feet real comfort all day long. The blister tabs and thoughtful design details make them perfect for everything from long workdays to weekend adventures.
I’ve been wearing my pair daily for over a year now, and they still look and feel fantastic. Yes, one sock eventually developed a small hole after heavy use—but that’s where Bombas truly shines. Their customer service is exceptional. I reached out about the issue, and they replaced the pair **free of charge, no questions asked**. That kind of hassle-free warranty and genuine commitment to their product is rare these days. It turns a potential disappointment into another reason to love the brand.
If you want socks that feel like a hug for your feet, stay comfortable for hours, and come with rock-solid customer support, stop looking. Bombas is the real deal. I’m a customer for life and just bought more pairs—including some as a thoughtful gift for my wife. You won’t regret it. Highly, highly recommend!

Do not order from this company
Do not order from this company! Late shipping and if you try to return an item you simply looked at and not worn they won’t accept your refund, awful customer service too. I give them zero stars and the product is just an oversized sticky. It’s useless
I had a couple pairs where I got a hole…
I had a couple pairs where I got a hole in the ball of my foot. I sent a photo, and they replaced them free of charge. Nice to know companies out there still stand behind their product.
The best customer service ever.
The best customer service ever.
Twice I make a mistake ordering, and Bombas corrected it by sending more socks free of charge..
Great product.
( sorry for length) Bombas Slippers
I couldn't change the date. It kept going back to today's date (does NOTHING work anymore? 😤). This experience was around November 2025.
I bought a pair of Bombas slippers. I'm sorry I don't know the name of the actual slipper but they are the ones that you can fold up and wash and they're supposed to be very comfortable. Nothing could be further from the truth. They are uncomfortable and after washing there's all kinds of lint everywhere. It gets on your clothes and all over the floor. I had a lot of trouble ordering the slippers but I had heard that they were really really good especially for diabetics so I saved up and spent almost $100 to have these things bought and delivered. Imagine my surprise when I put them on and it felt like the lining had bunched up under my feet so therefore they were extremely uncomfortable to walk in. The second problem, besides the fact that the slippers were horrible, it took me several tries to finally check out. I had also wanted to buy a pair of socks with the slippers, but for some reason my sale wouldn't go through. I don't mean I didn't have the money I mean that the program that they use to accept payments wasn't working at all. So I wrote to them. Once, twice, three times over about 4 to 6 weeks. I heard nothing back. Not one word. I actually wanted to return the slippers because they were nothing like I had understood they would be. After almost 3 months I finally got an email back asking what the problem was. I wrote back and asked if they had received my other emails and they wrote back and said they had, but they gotten lost and they had just found them. I mean I don't know how you lose emails, especially when they are made out to the proper department, but that was their excuse. I then had a phone call from a female who worked with the company or maybe was an owner, and when I spoke to her I simply told her that it was far too late for them to do anything and that, as I am doing now, I would give them a bad review. Personally I wish I could give it zero stars. Terrible customer service, worse product. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone.
Absolutely one of the worst customer…
Absolutely one of the worst customer experiences I have had in 40 years. I bought what I consider expensive socks. I wear $300 dress shoes for work. After just 2 wears I had a hole in the heal of 1 pair. I contacted them, they got back to me with a A.I. response. I asked for a replacement pair and I'll stick with them. NOTHING, NO RESPONSE. Tried again.....nothing. I spend $30 on a pair of socks which don't match up to the quality they claim and you don't get back too me? BAD business. They don't care. Just want our money.
