We had a single full day in Nepal as a layover for further travels. I contacted Sobit days before without a real plan. We asked if they could arrange a single full-day trip, from morning until evening (including dinner) to show us the must-sees in Kathmandu.
We're very happy we got in touch with Sobit and his company. He understood us perfectly. We had a single day experience where we got to see as much of Kathmandu as we could, without it feeling like a typical organized/structured tour at any point. It felt a lot more like a friend bringing you to his favorite spots than a guide doing another daytrip.

We had a wonderful trip and experience! My fiancée and I are casual hikers but wanted to do a bigger trek than we are used to. Sobit was very quick to communicate through the process and provide details to assist with planning. Our guide Surendra was extremely knowledgeable and able to adjust the itinerary to make sure we were able to see everything accounting for our ability and the weather. Our porter Lokendra was always full of energy and brought fun to interactions. Both provided great service while also sharing information and stories about Nepal, the regions were traveled through, and their own experiences.
The trek itself was a great blend of starting through a lower forest/jungle and slowly working upwards to higher altitudes that reward you with fantastic views of many mountains. We got to see various animals such as langurs, musk deer, wild boars, and many, many yaks!
I'm a female single traveler who just did the Everest Base Camp Trek. If not for Bold Himalaya who took care of everything, I wouldn't have done it safely and with so much fun. The staff went beyond my expectations and were very accommodating. So go get your arrangements from them and fulfill that bucket list to see Everest.
