Please please avoid this company at all costs. We used them to book a crewed catamaran around the Amalfi coast to celebrate my son’s 18th. Where to start with all the issues ?
1. The catamaran was only a year old but had endless maintenance issues. The water maker was broken, meaning we were encouraged not to shower much. There was a battery problem meaning we had to spend time at dock waiting for repairs and many more issues.
2. The hostess was mentally unstable and screamed at us for staying up late one night when we celebrated my son’s 18th. She said she needed lots of sleep ( she was age 60 + ) and that we disturbed her. She did many other weird and unwelcoming things through the week but you get the gist
3. We ate most of our meals off the boat yet were given a huge bill for provisions with receipts that can’t be deciphered
4. We have been home 6 weeks and still don’t have almost 1000 Euros back from provisions budget. The company claim the money has been sent to me and sends me what I assume are fake bank transfers receipts but the money has not arrived at my bank.
After years of chartering all manor of sailing vessels I have never come across such a dishonest , fraudulent business who have no handle on the local agents they work with. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Boatbookings was ok to deal with, but please do not let them book you with Adriatic Sailing out of Croatia. Use a different company. Our recent cruise experience with Adriatic Sailing was an absolute disaster. Persistent unsanitary conditions, including a putrid smell and fecal matter in common areas, made our entire week unbearable. Despite the replacement of toilets, the issues were never fully resolved, leading to daily headaches from noxious fumes, clothing that smelled like sewage and actual sewage raining down into one of the bathrooms from vent above.

While offered reimbursement for just one day, it falls woefully short of addressing the seven days of inconvenience and health hazards we endured. Adriatic Sailing's failure to adequately address these serious issues is extremely disappointing. I strongly caution others against booking with them until these concerns are addressed.

We spent a wonderful day on the Mediterranean enjoying a lovely boat ride with a group of friends. What a great boat. The crew was super nice and knowledgable. Providing great catering and bringing us to great places to enjoy a swim in the ocean.

A few weeks ago we visited the South of France and Boatbookings organized a beautiful trip for our group on a Sunseeker yacht. The boat was impeccable, the food delicious, and the Rosé wine was cold! The captain and the deck hand were super friendly and made sure the entire trip was thoroughly enjoyable.
The total experience was smoothly run from start to finish, and is highly recommended!

We chartered Rehab from Cannes to St Tropez. A fantastic day. The crew are excellent and took care of all of our needs. Great itinerary. Couldn't have been better!!

I am extremely disappointed in the lack of compassion and business professionalism with BoatBookings.com and would absolutely recommend extreme caution before using them for any charter. They are in their office in the UK and seem to be unaware of the boats they are chartering.

I contacted BoatBookings.com in early August 2022 inquiring about booking a boat / catamaran for a 50th anniversary trip with another close couple in April 2023. I contacted BoatBookings.com mainly because they offered a pick up location at Scrub Island in the BVI.

We were guided by James Teague to a late model catamaran that he affirmed would be perfect for our trip. I have chartered boats (mainly powerboats) for 35 years from the BVI. I sent the wire to BoatBookings.com for 50% of the total charter cost in September 2022. I was booking a private water taxi from St Thomas to Scrub Island in February 2023, and the water taxi company advised me that there were no boats from BoatBookings.com and Dream Yacht Charter in Scrub Island as they had moved in the Fall of 2022. I contacted James Teague and he said that he would have to check with his contact at Dream Yacht Charter as he knew nothing of them moving the fleet from Scrub Island (4 or 5 months after they moved).

I spoke with Dream Yacht Charter and they advised me that they had advised BoatBookings.com of their move in the fall of 2022. This to say the least was difficult for me to adjust, but I changed my plans. I arrived at Dream Yacht Charter the day of the pick up and it had not been communicated to them that I was to depart the same day. The manager, Richard at Dream Yacht Charter was accommodating and got me a quick walk through. I discovered that day that the boat had no air conditioning (and no generator). Our group is all in our 70's and no ac is not an option.

The people at Dream Yacht Charter were very understanding. They accepted the boat back, and we did not use it. Richard requested that I reach out to BoatBookings.com and request a refund. I have asked for consideration from BoatBookings.com and they have refused to consider any refund.

One only has one 50th anniversary in ones life, and BoatBookings.com is unfit for business.
