I used to work for BNY. The first team I worked with were great all members were respectful and it felt like a team. Unfortunately things didn't go too well for me due to internal changes redundancy etc. They even offered redundancy pay despite me not working there for 2 years. The other job I had at BNY was not a great enviroment and didn't go to well so I left. But I did enjoy my time there.

The overall upper management is hopeless. The Technology team is really very good and skilled, however due to the lack of vision for the business as well as technology from upper management. Mostly skilled worker ask to let go with the stupid 15% iteration policy. This gives a less trust on the stability. Also there is no work life balance. US counterparts asks Asian resources to login on thier timezone irrespective of whether you complete your business hours.Very bad company.

Hi , ı have sent 2 swift from turkey to china and your bank holding my money for 21 days without showing any reason ! Because of your bank , our products waiting in warehouse for 3 weeks .
What you doing is illegal .
Before escalate this situation to higher government in usa , ı wanted mail you.
How possible you hold our money 3 weeks ?
We are an importer company and we losing our products because of your bank.
I attach swift documents. Please do swift as soon as possible otherwise ı will apply to all related instutions in usa to complain your bank.

Trying to get someone on the phone through wire transfer is impossible. Thy will not call back. it goes straight to voice message. They are sitting on the money since May and will not transfer the money to USAA. USAA claims that they are their Correspondent bank. Not trust worthily. Next step will be to sue them.

Quite simply the worst financial service provider I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. They put every obstacle and obstruction in your way to stop you dealing with them. Don't recognise my account. Insist on postal communications. Won't let me transact online. UK pass calls to Ireland and back again. Hopeless.

My God what idi*ts. They have given me 4 different phone numbers. I have tried all of them and none of them are able to give me information on my son's Child Trust Fund account. I think we may have lost the money!

Customer service is dire, they ask for information then you hear nothing, chase and they say they need more info, it's nearly 6 months of trying to get the funds from them. I've never had an issue with other companies with identity checks but these take it to another level.
It's getting to the point of going to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Awful company not enough customer support staff. Long wait for phone to be answered. Do not communicate effectively with other Financial Services providers. I have been trying to move BNY Mellon funds from one Financial platform to an alternative. I completed Transfer Out and Transfer In forms in June 2023 and am still waiting for the transfer to be completed.

Issues with the app, I send money for my investment and it wasn't received, contacted support and nothing has been done about it. I think I will stick with my advisor Libbey Jane Bean on Google for now until this issue is resolved. I need my money back.

I've use BNY Mellon for 5+ years. Never any issues, always responsive.
