Professional and ethical conduct
Jesse was an incredible operator who worked to gain me a renewal policy that was around 40% cheaper than the broker I’d been dealing with for the past 4 years!
Trustful, diligent, professional, I’ll be definitely marketing his services to other colleagues in the structural engineering field no doubt.

Straight out lied!
On renewal of our Strata Title Residential Insurance Bluewell gave us one insurance option to renew with but quoting in their letter "after reviewing several other options in the market, we have determined that the current policy still represents the best value in regards to coverage and premium."
When I asked to see the other quotes, their senior account manager admitted they had obtained NO other quotes and that this was a templated email!
WOW! If you are not obtaining and reviewing insurance options for us then I am extremely confused as to what your $550 brokerage charge is for?
Note to Bluewell's reply - You only got the 3 quotes AFTER I complained it had not been done. I have an email trail that evidences this very clearly. Even your reply on here is deceptive.

This policy was shopped around and was declined by 3 insurers.
The body corporate left suppling renewal information to us until the last minute not enabling us to take this to more of the market. Body corporate instructed us with bind instructions for the current insurer last minute as we could not go elsewhere.

Shocking service
Shocking service, insured another business under my ABN, which had to be sorted out and took two weeks, so I want able to start the work I had lined up. They kept $260 and wanted another $150 to sort it out.
Disgraceful.

Moosheeba, we went off the business name you supplied us, then went to ABN lookup and found the business under the business name you supplied us and put that name and the ABN on your policy documents. You then later told us via email that’s “just what you call the business”, so the name you gave us wasn’t a registered business name. This is not our mistake, we went off the information supplied by you. Once you told us this information we changed the business name to your personal name.
In trying to change information the QBE portal went down for numerous days, so we started a new policy with GCU as you said this was time sensitive, in doing so we needed to start a new monthly contract for you as the insurer had changed, this was not asking you for money for fixing our mistake.
In regards to the figure of $260 you said we have not refunded. We were waiting for you to accept the new monthly contract for CGU and these funds were going to be applied to your new monthly contract, but you told us you want to cancel the policy, and since you advised you only wanted to cancel the cover 2 business days ago, we have not had a reasonable amount of time to refund your funds.

A pleasant experience and simple process with friendly, knowledgeable staff that guided me throughout in finding suitable and affordable public and product liability for my small business. I feel confident and assured that I now have adequate cover in the unfortunate event that I will ever need to make a claim.
