I bought an IPhone from Currys and got 5.5% off with my Blue Light card. It’s easy to do, you have to buy a Gift card and then type in the number and PIN. I’ve done it a few times now and saved about a hundred pounds so far.
It’s easy and really simple to do, definitely worth it!

BLC card suspended without notice
Had a problem with my BLC recently, it wasn’t topping up and then I became locked out.
Then I had a message from BLC saying my card had been suspended for unusual activity but I only use BLC gift cards at Asda. I’ve been a pharmacist for over 40 years so I’m definitely entitled to use the card. No explanation was given once my card was reinstated. Wondering if some algorithm was involved in suspending my card?
Update. My login was restored just to find today shopping at Asda that my membership had been suspended again

I love my blue light card, just had £60 off my Jet 2 holiday. Use it for our ferries from the Isle of Wight where we live. Parking at Bournemouth Airport and so on. After working in the NHS for over 25 years I really feel grateful that I can get these offers. Every one helps. Thanks for everything.
