Peru is Wonderful

Bluefoot arranged our quick trip to Peru, Cusco and Machu Picchu- everything was great and effortless in all areas. The food and culture are wonderful and we were pleased to have great weather at Machu Picchu. One thing we did not do is the one-day Inca trail hike at Machu Picchu- we believe it would be very rewarding if a guest is open to it.

Fears never realized

We normally are self directed travelers, which works well for us generally, however for this trip we thought it best to partner with someone local. We initially engaged with Bluefoot Galápagos because of their prompt responsiveness, but we also had some apprehension in light of anecdotes about Galápagos travel scammers.

As we moved forward and did our research we determined that Bluefoot is legit due to their relationship with Tropic, a highly regarded Ecuadoran travel company with green-centric values.

Though we felt good about our decision there were lingering doubts as we started our vacation.

Our fears were not realized, and in fact there wasn’t a single glitch in our entire 2 week trip which included multiple flight, car, and boat transfers across several locations on the mainland and in the archipelago.

At every step, as promised by Bluefoot Galapagos, a rep from Bluefoot and/or Tropic met us on time to ensure we were where we wanted to be and when we needed to be there.

Pilar and Alejandro were super responsive to all of our questions prior to and during our trip. It was truly a turnkey experience with no disappointment. There are surely many credible Ecuador/Galapagos travel companies out there, but for us, when we go again, there is NO question that we will partner again with these guys.
