Went New Year

Went New Year. Large party, will not be returning, hairs visible on plates ..food was sub standard. Once complaining about the hairs they removed my starter from the bill. There are much better Indian restaurants in Llandudno..toilets were unclean too.

Order cancelled without notification

I'm a long term customer but tonight my order never came and they didn't bother letting me know. I'm also very chronically ill and unable to cook so when I do spend money on a takeaway, I usually have no other option. When I complained about the lack of a proper notification, the lady who answered hung up.
————
Order was accepted on the app, but later I noticed an automatic text saying
"order x refunded". I assumed the refund was due to incorrect items received in previous order. After wondering for 30 mins, I phoned to check. I had difficulty in understanding the lady’s broken English, but eventually realised that the order was cancelled because they were too busy. But they hadn’t bothered to tell me this.

Worse was being hung up on after I said "you can't just cancel an order without telling me. I've been a customer for years". Yes I was annoyed, but it was a reasonable point.

Anyway I see now that they can. That'll be my last order as what's the point in ordering from a website who don't bother to block orders past a certain point or to post a message saying that
"orders have been suspended"? Or to even send a courtesy message or call you? They just let you wait for an order that is never going to arrive. And when you complain about that, they don’t care.

PS. While posting this I just realised it’s Valentine’s Day. The one day of the year when I avoid restaurants and I forgot! Still, courtesy is courtesy no matter what day it is.

Bad service, mediocre food and really rude manager

We had a good experience at the restaurant in Bangkok. So when we saw the sign at our hotel in Copenhagen, we were excited to eat here.

Unfortunately, the place turned out to be an absolute disaster. We ordered drinks, chicken satay Soup, Panang curry and chicken Phad Thai. They brought all the food out together. One of our children is allergic to shrimp and they brought us shrimp phad thai - we would never order a dish out child is allergic to. The manager lady insisted we ordered it. When we asked if she could give us chicken, she said she would have to charge for it. Completely ignoring our instructions, our order and wanted more money. No apologies, no concern about allergies, and just focused on insisting we ordered shrimp and that Phad Thai is only made with shrimp. Sigh!

In addition, they were completely rude.*For a lot of additional money to get the food as we had ordered.

I am not sure why this restaurant is in business anymore. Lots of empty tables. Absolutely poor service. The food was mediocre. We thought the Penang curry was more like Indian chicken curry.

We would not recommend going to this restaurant if your life depended on it.
