Blue Door Realty is terrible at managing our HOA
I am only choosing one star, because no stars isn't an option.
BlueDoorHomes.net manages our HOA, at The Trails neighborhood on the west mesa, and they are terrible at what they do.
Each time I and other neighbors have called them about valid neighborhood issues, like overgrown plants on sidewalks, and dogs that bark nonstop and kick rocks onto the sidewalks, so that walking by these homes with your own dogs is unsafe and next to impossible, they simply brush us off, by saying that they cannot share what they are doing about our respective complaints.
That said, you never know if they have done anything at all, but based on the issue we called them about, it doesn't appear as if anything is ever being done.
When I bought my home, the neighborhood was in its early stages, and I was told by the DR Horton realtor that all common grounds would look like the areas where the model homes were being shown.
I have been here for three years now, and we have a street called Girona Ave. NW, where three quarters of the street has virtually no trees or plants, and the few plants that are there, have been allowed to die due to lack of water and maintenance.
I would like to see the trees and foliage that I was promised would be there by the DR Horton realtor.
Today I received an email from Blue Door indicating that they are replacing Green Summit, who maintains our neighborhood common grounds, in response to complaints from owners about the lack of maintenance in our common areas.
I feel that replacing Green Summit, is not going to solve a thing, because Green Summit also maintains Ventana Ranch, the neighborhood next to ours, and the common areas there are very well maintained.
So, if Green Summit can maintain Ventana Ranch well, there is no reason why they can’t do the same in our neighborhood and replacing them is just kicking the can down the road.
The only other responsible party is Blue Door Realty, but it appears that they refuse to take ownership for their lack of involvement.
I feel quite certain that our HOA money can be better spent by a different property management company.
