Bunch of scammers who only let you book…

Bunch of scammers who only let you book premium appointments. How they ever got the contract with the Spanish embassy is anyones guess, brown envelopes maybe?

The website constantly crashes forcing you to re-enter infomation, constantly asks for captcha numbers and only every says no standard appointments are available.

BLS should be removed by the Spanish Embassy as they are breaking UK consumer law through bait and switch by only offering the limited slots throuh premium so they can overcharge you and extra £100

Scammers

Scammers! They would indirectly pressure you into taking their so called premium services. This is nothing but, them redoing the application using your existing data and putting a price to it. You would feel like it's either the premium lounge service or nothing. You walk-in and it almost feels like you are just being targeted. You will see bunch if ruthless, shameless people aiming at your wallet. At the end of the day day, one has no choice but to sign up for it because the whole BLS system is created in such a way that you cannot go ahead without signing up for the premium lounge service. Needless to say, they won't even provide water, or any refreshments at the lounge, but you will be forced to listen to the video that is playing on loop - which obviously praises how great BLS BS is and the obvious cooked up testimonials from the weak links from the society. This business is such a disgrace. I hope they consulate take them down, but the chances are slim because, someone might be getting a cut from this setting.

Don't send your passport in, they will lose it...

Impossible to get an appointment!!! Do not trust them with your passport, more likely will go missing! The call center in India is typical, Assholes to the extreme and can't understand a word they say and tell you do not call. BLS websites are one big failure and they move offices without telling you, show up and office is empty. Spain, Italy etc who use BLS - You are losing money from students unable to attend your universities, and retirees who want to relocate to your country and add to your GDP without taking any social services! Basically using BLS is like jumping out of a plane with no parachute. How does Spain and Italy not know how they are getting screwed by this company?!!?

The worst website I have ever come across, bls should be ashamed of yourselves. You charge enough money to be able to invest in your website! I wasted 2 hours of my valuable time on your site and wasn't able to book an appointment due to your site freezing and sooo slow! Absolutely disgusting wasting people's time.
Bls SORT IT OUT!

Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. Staff needs costumer service training.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service received at the Spain Visa Application Centre in London.

I paid £210.94 per person (£421.88 total) for premium service, expecting a higher standard of organisation, priority handling, and customer care. Unfortunately, the service provided fell significantly below expectations.

Despite confirming our premium appointment at reception, we were incorrectly directed to the general queue and made to wait for over an hour, while other applicants were processed ahead of us. Only shortly before the lunch break were we redirected to the premium lounge, which resulted in us spending less than 10 minutes there.

The conduct of staff was also concerning. We experienced dismissive behaviour, lack of communication, and were even told to leave while my daughter was still being processed. When attempting to raise concerns, a staff member told us to “get out” and suggested we withdraw our application if we were not satisfied.

Additionally, we were informed that no further assistance could be provided due to the lunch break, and we would need to return after an hour, despite already being in the middle of the process.

This experience reflects poor organisation, lack of professionalism, and failure to deliver the premium service that was paid for. I would not recommend paying for premium service based on this experience.

I hope this matter is taken seriously and addressed appropriately.

I had a very disappointing experience Expensive Premium Service, Poor Communication and Serious Concerns About Passport Return Before Flight‼️

I had a very disappointing experience at the BLS International Services Ltd Spain Visa Application Centre in London.

My mum and I paid £210 each (£421 in total) for the Premium Service, expecting priority treatment and access to the premium lounge. However, when we arrived, no staff member informed us that we were premium applicants. We waited and queued in the normal seating area for a long time while staff could clearly see us but did not guide us.

Only at the last minute were we told we could use the premium lounge, where we spent only around 5 minutes. Essentially, we paid a significant premium fee but did not receive the premium service we were promised.

The environment inside the centre was chaotic, overcrowded, and poorly organised. Staff communication with applicants was unacceptable and often rude. While waiting at the biometric counter, I witnessed a staff member shouting at a male applicant and instructing that he be sent out. This behaviour was unprofessional and created a very uncomfortable atmosphere.

For a service charging such high fees, professionalism and proper customer care should be expected. Unfortunately, this was not our experience, and I will be requesting reimbursement as the premium service was not delivered as advertised.

Website deliberately jammed - impossible to book

It's been two months, and I can't make an appointment. I can see the slots are available, but the website keeps glitching. It's really frustrating, and I wonder if this is being done deliberately to make it impossible to book through the ordinary route. Honestly, I don't know how best one can apply for a visa with such horrendous inefficiencies.

Absolutely terrible experience

Absolutely terrible experience. The appointment system is completely unreliable. Slots are supposedly released around 9–9:30 AM and 6:30 PM, but the website either crashes or becomes unusable every single time.

Even worse, the site shows multiple “available” slots (highlighted in green) across locations like Deira City Centre, Mankhool, and Sharjah, but after filling in all details, it suddenly says “slot is booked.” This happens repeatedly.

The call center is equally useless—no one answers due to “high call volume,” so there’s zero support.

This entire process feels misleading and honestly looks like a setup to push people into paying for premium services. Completely unacceptable.

You must pay $15 or $30 only to complete the service

You've filled 100% of the form and attached all relevant documents. Keep them safe. You must pay $15 or $30 only to complete the service. Some work hard, but some still earn the same money. It makes one think about working at two places. The Indian government should consider opening another service center in Singapore or changing to a more efficient service.

BLS- Endless Waiting and Zero Accountability(Dubai Branch)

The service provided by BLS is absolutely unacceptable and reflects a shocking level of mismanagement. With hundreds of applicants waiting for NRI certificate processing, operating just a single counter is nothing short of negligent. The processing speed—barely 5 to 6 applicants per hour—is painfully slow and completely unjustifiable.

During the exam preparation period the applicants are forced to endure long hours of waiting in overcrowded conditions, with no clear system, coordination, or concern for their time. This is not just poor service; it shows a complete disregard for basic efficiency and customer respect. For an organization entrusted with handling important official documentation, this level of incompetence is deeply concerning.

Such substandard service does not just inconvenience individuals—it damages trust and brings down the overall perception of service quality. Immediate and serious improvements in staffing, planning, and accountability are absolutely essential.

Good experience

Must say after all the negative reviews we have been reading. I would just like to say something positive. The London bls and the consulate general have been amazing. Helpful, good communication and a good service. We applied for our nlv on the 9th March 2026. We got our passports back today with our visa, 3weeks. That was with requesting extra documents. So thank you to all involved in the process. A very good quick service. Helen.
