Fridge freezer just over 3 years old

Fridge freezer just over 3 years old, stopped working, Blomberg Ireland no longer in use, no one answers UK service number, have held for 15+ minutes several times. Cannot get a local service person to look at blomberg.
Dreadful service, would not recommend.

Registration Nightmare

Tried to register an appliance on line, as per instructions, which was not possible. Called the telephone number provided, which was incorrect. Tried another number and was then passed to 2 different departments who were unable to register the appliance. After more frustration and explanations was eventually able to register the appliance after wasting 45 minutes on the telephone providing details to 4 different people. Customer service and on line system very poor.

Recently moved to a new apartment that is furnished with Blomberg appliances. We still can’t get over on the loud noise the oven makes when it reaches the temperature we want. I think they could have chosen a better sound than this. We still gets scared when we hear it otherwise the oven is okay. As far as the dishwasher, the hidden panel is so odd. It’s difficult to know how many minutes left since it doesn’t have a display like other dishwasher machines I have seen. The rack is also odd because you can’t even understand how to position your dishes. If this is my own house, I will stick to whirlpool, sorry to say but I am not satisfied with this brand.

Blomberg WHO!????

Purchased a blomberg condenser dryer after being convinced by the salesman in-store even though it wasn't one of my first choices. Registered for the extended warranty in April and lo and behold internal door lock mechanism failed in November. Ok so I reported it and an engineer would call within a week. Except he told us he was at customer premises and they were out. Ok ring cameras never picked it up so a second engineer sent out. Same result. Engineers sent to wrong address twice. Ok so third engineer sent and I made sure they knew address etc, arrived and arrived with no part to fix the machine. Reported it as a very disgruntled customer and was told a new machine was mine with an 'uplift' number to be quoted to original shop. So called them and said yes a new dryer will be sorted! Hurrah. However phone call following day said no an engineer was sourcing the part. Ok got an email today saying will take 5-10 working days to arrive then they have to call to fit. So January sometime if I am lucky. Basically go for a more established make not Bloomberg and secondly the extended warranty is sort of rubbish as waiting for over a month and looks like it will be another month before gets fixed if it does. So Christmas will be buy a new branded dryer and sell blomberg once fixed or have washing hanging around house. As said before customer service is dead with a lot of companies who really don't make the effort to sort out even if you get extended warranty. Two stars as the people on the phone are pleasant but don't know what they are doing.

Pathetic Customer Service Warranty and repair system

Blomberg D/W not working with error code E01 luckily a couple of weeks before my warranty expires. It’s almost like they’re designed to fail bang on the warranty period expiry!
Customer Service poor to say the least. Only way to contact them is by phone but that’s when the fun starts! Old trick of one customer service rep transferring you to the “correct dept” even though you are through to the right dept via their telephone system, and happening again until you then say please put me through to your manager and your on hold indefinitely! Eventually the “manager” says you’re through to the wrong dept as well!! The on hold music is on a loop that stops every 20 secs to make you think your through but no! It’s like a form of torture!
While waiting called on another phone and eventually get someone that does his job and knows what dept and actually gives me a direct line number in case! (Well done and thanks Chris)
I eventually get through and even though I have a 5 year Warranty in writing via email from Blomberg they have none of my details on their system- apparently the 5 year warranty is very rare and I have to wait while they check my warranty while I’m on hold again. Eventually Engineer appointment booked 6 days from call which lasted just over an hour with two phones running in parallel on hold! See how the repair goes and update my review after that.
We had been pleased with how our D/W had been working but based on the pathetic system Blomberg, Beko, Hotpoint and Domestic & General use I won’t be buying any other appliances from those manufacturers!
Update on repair booking - their system of dates doesn’t work having just had a call from the Engineer who are fully booked for another couple of weeks!

Very disappointed. Had to wait 10 working days for a repair, 2weeks in total including weekends, bought the washing machine as it offered a 3 year warranty but not much good if if it takes 2 weeks for a repair.

Customer Service Needs Work

Purchased a built in oven in January 2023 with a 5 year warranty. The oven itself has had issues with hot spots meaning have to move some items around to avoid burning. Told this is a common problem with ovens!! However, the present issue is with trying to replace 2 knobs that have faded making it difficult to know what temperature and function has been selected. I phoned the number in the info book supplied with the oven. After waiting 13 minutes to speak to someone informed that I needed another number. Rang new number and having spoken to 3 more people finally got an agreement to get the required parts. This took another 39 minutes. To buy the new knobs would cost £52 each. The oven when new cost £400. Why do 2 small parts cost 25% of the purchase price?

5 year guarantee required for washer/dryer

We bought a Blomberg integrated washer/dryer just over two years ago, one of the selling points was the 5 year guarantee. In the 2 and a bit years we have owned the machine we have required engineers to visit 5 times, each time leaving us without a washing machine between 2 and 14 days. All the repairs have been covered, but not the lost time/laundrette cost. We asked if we just have a faulty machine and were told we have to have 3 engineer visits before they would consider replacing. The last visit they had to replace pretty much all the internals (drum, heating element, etc…) and it has now broken a fifth time and a replacement or refund not forthcoming. We were recommended the brand/machine by a local shop, we would not buy again.

Blomberg Fridge Freezer Combos

Without doubt the worst fridge I have ever purchased in my life from Blomberg (aka some kind of subsiduary of BEKO via their kitchen appliances). That's even rivalling an awful Hotpoint which rusted to bits within 6 months. Main issue are the noise levels. In-between intermittent loud humming & hissing, our Blombug fridge constantly crackles and pops. sounds like a bowl of Rice Krispie's with a megaphone strapped to it. It gets worse in summer. According to the user manual (and sales staff) it is perfectly normal for Myself or my Wife to be asking "what the hell was that noise?" every 20 minutes in our own home. It is absolutely relentless though. In the evenings, while trying to watch TV, we have to close our kitchen door to be able to hear audio or get a decent nights rest. The abomination can still be heard from our bedroom. If someone decides to burgle us, we'll be none the wiser as we're always mentally tuning out the menace half the time. Also, can't help getting furious at the demonic thing 'beebing' at us every time I leave the door open 1 second longer than allocated limit. I don't need my fridge nagging me, I'm married for that! There is no way of turning this feature off, or adjusting parameters. It's especially irritating when you are trying to grab multiple items or remove shelves for routine cleaning. Surely I shouldn't feel intimidated by my fridge because I'm not fast enough?! Bizarrely enough, the freezer section doesn't make any sound whatsoever when its left open! No, Blombug didn't have enough development funds for the more important compartment, totally mute. Finally that extremely gimmicky 'fresh light tech'. This is as pointless as OLED mood backlighting on TVs. It is pure marketing nonsense. How do I know? Am I a scientist? A leading nutritionist perhaps? Nope ...but it's kind of obvious to anyone with half a brain this feature is absurd gubbins when the colour changes immediately to a different gradient every time the door is opened and shut. Coupled with the fact fancy Christmas lights are about effective as homeopathy in keeping veg fresher, just another fallacy to bump up the price. What's red lighting supposed to mimic exactly? A day on Mars? Blue? A morning at seaworld? Pluuuuhease. Genuinely, I turned down a Bosch in favour of this brand. Massive mistake, never again. Awful fridge freezer combos. I pray for the day the piece of **** breaks down outside of warranty, which judging from the sound of the condenser, might not be too long away.

Very disappointed in this tumble with the heat pump it takes forever to dry anything and never ever feels completely dry properly.
It seems to be a constant noise just going and going.
I have the up to 7kg side and the drum is very narrow restricting actual tumble motions.

Marvellous Company

This company is worth their weight in gold. They are very reliable. I had purchased a hub from the company and unfortunately there was a minor fault they offered to replace it at no extra charge. The customer service was impeccable and the replacement was available within 48 hours highly recommended.

Worst customer service and after sale service

Worst customer service. No one is taking responsibility for registering the guarantee. I called the number provided on Blomberg Dryer and they informed they are not doing the guarantee registration no more. I tried online not able to register as red mark showing on the serial number section. Hoping the appliance will be okay to not to have any faults. Worst after sales service.

Do not use Blomberg!

Purchased a built in oven / microwave. Microwave has always been unreliable. Not heating straight away and always needing to re heat. Then one night completely wont heat /stopped working. After calling Blomberg and sitting on hold for over 1hour 30mins. Customer service were only concerned to keep informing me this would be a chargeable engineer visit despite the product being one week out of warranty. I said I would pay but could they guarantee if they couldnt fix it they would replace the oven to which they said they couldnt and if they couldnt fix it it would still be chargeable, yet I'm waiting all this time for the engineer and still without the oven / microwave! Asked to book the engineer as dont have much other choice, to be put back on hold for 45mins before the call just ended! What brilliant reliable products and service, just what you need with a baby too!

Buyer beware.

The appliance was suggested to me by the seller, but it is my opinion that what they told me was not true. They said it was rated an E under the new guidelines, comparable to my old appliance which was an A. They told me that there were not any appliances that were equivalent to an A. I have since found out that that is not the case after delivery. They contradicted themselves when they told me I would have to pay a substantial amount for and A rated appliance.
The appliance is ok, it works, but it is not what I wanted and I now have no redress.
Another point for me was having a wine rack, which I didnt need. It necessitated buy a new shelf.
