Fake warranty

Backpack had "lifetime warranty" at the time of purchase. When the item needed repair/replacement, contacted Blackwolf eventually they told me they would not assist with repair/replacement as only 'limited lifetime warranty' (whatever that means). This company is using a fake "lifetime warranty" as a marketing gimmick which they have no intention to honour.

Charge a premium, offer customer fake guarantees because the customer thinks the item will last. When it doesn't, blame and gaslight the customer.

Dreadful company. Better to buy from Temu at least they are cheap. 0/10

Split Seam On Zeus Backpack

I had always held the highest regard for Black Wolf travel gear and my "Grand Tour" bag has had many travels and expeditions and never let me down.
So, I was pleased to find a backpack with ideal configuration for carry on and to accommodate binoculars, camera, passport etc.
On return to Sydney after the third trip and without any rough treatment I was appalled to find a split seam on the external pocket.
Black Wolf don't want to know - apart from recommending "specialist luggage repairer".
Disappointing and very fortunate not to lose house keys and money.

I previously loved the Blackwolf…

I previously loved the Blackwolf Bladerunner 80+20 roller bag, in fact, I have 3 of them. But now the extending handles are broken on all 3 bags. Now you would think that when a company advertises a “Lifetime Warranty”, that they would honour it. I even registered the purchase online, as required; provided proof of purchase and video of the defect. I have been trying via phone and email to get it fixed or replaced for the past 2 weeks to no avail. No reply at all. Now I am leaving on a 4 month trip in 5 days. I guess I will have to purchase one of the competitors bags now! Moral of the story - don’t believe the term “Lifetime Warranty”!
