If you think solicitors are all the same, think again. It is when things go wrong that you find out the difference.
This is the second time that we have used Blackstone Solicitors to sell a property. We were incredibly fortunate to have the same dedicated team both times. Navi and her team have been amazing from the start and throughout! They are professional & knowledgeable as you would expect, but also very human, keeping us up to date regularly and at each stage. It is rare to find a busy team in any organisation that calls you back when they say they will, or who takes the time to explain things properly, in plain language.
The most recent sale should have been quick & easy, it was anything but. It was fraught with delays and dithering throughout on the buyer’s side.
Navi and her team have all been brilliant throughout, totally solutions focussed. I can’t recommend them highly enough! They work seamlessly together. Different people picked up the baton at different stages based on their specialisms. Unlike other solicitors, nothing stops because someone is on annual leave. The team carry on with the work. They all went the extra mile at different times for different reasons, which we so appreciate.
We liaised mostly with Ada, so she is the standout person for us, she was brilliant throughout and it wasn’t an easy process or sale for anyone. We also liaised with Navi and finally very near to the close of play on completion day, Emma was literally sprinting from one building to another to get things finalised for us, which she did, with help from someone else on the team. All the while Navi was putting our minds at rest explaining what was going on.

Isabella Marsden is an outstanding solicitor. She’s helped us through a complex contentious probate dispute and been a huge support and driving force to the successful outcome we achieved this week. As a first-time buyer I went into this knowing very little, and Blackstone made the whole thing far less daunting than I’d expected. Ada Wojciechowska handled my case brilliantly — always quick to come back to me, and happy to explain things in plain English rather than legal jargon. Navi Braich was equally on the ball with the legal side, and enquiries and searches were turned around impressively fast.

We exchanged in record time on my purchase, well ahead of the timescales I’d been quoted elsewhere. I never once had to chase for an update, which from everything I’d heard about conveyancing was not what I was bracing myself for.

Wesley and his team were very professional and responsive when putting together a deed for me. They sent me a detailed questionnaire followed by a few iterations of the deed until the final version was completed. They also gave me good legal advice during the whole process.
