Very poor communication, long delays, and no real UK company presence
I ordered a chair from Blacklyte in January. The website said delivery in 2–3 days. I am now close to five months later, and I still have no product and no clear information.
There were no proactive updates at all. The original delivery estimate was March. They did not tell me it would be delayed. I only found out when I asked them. Later they told me there would be a two‑month delay, but again they did not inform me until I contacted them myself. Every update has been reactive, never proactive.
Many of the replies I received looked like AI‑generated messages. They did not answer my specific questions. This made the communication feel fake and unhelpful. It did not feel like real customer support.
The company also appears to have no real UK presence. I could not find a UK company number, no UK registration, and no UK address. This increased my concerns, especially when the delays continued with no clear explanation.
The experience has been extremely frustrating. Long delays, no proactive communication, no clear timeline, and no sign of the product ever being available. I have now requested a full refund because I no longer have confidence in the order or the company.
I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.
