Using BlaBlaCar is extremely frustrating and unreliable

Using BlaBlaCar is extremely frustrating and unreliable.

This has happened to me repeatedly: I book a ride with a “Super Driver” who supposedly responds quickly, yet the driver simply never confirms the booking. Despite this, BlaBlaCar immediately charges a service fee (around €5), which then remains blocked and unusable for hours or even days.

I tried again with another driver – same result. No confirmation, money blocked, time wasted.

This is not a rare issue but something that happens almost every time. The worst part is that drivers face no consequences for ignoring requests, while the user bears all the inconvenience.

Because of this, you cannot rely on BlaBlaCar when you actually need transportation. Instead of making travel easier, it creates stress, uncertainty, and unnecessary financial friction.

Very poor user experience. Not recommended.

You guys canceled my last trip going…

You guys canceled my last trip going home to Sweden so I had to pay over 350 to get home....it wasn't any fraud it was my friend in Sweden helping me you arsewipes. I won't recommend your service to anyone...

Traveling to Munich

I went to Munich with Claire and it was a super and comfortable trip. She's so nice, talkative and patient person. By mistake I took a wrong train and she didn't have any problem to pick me up in another place. I would travel again with her 100%

Absolutely unacceptable service

Absolutely unacceptable service. The driver stopped for an extremely short time and left without ensuring all passengers had boarded. I was traveling with a 63-year-old person with limited mobility—there was no realistic way for us to make it on time.

To make matters worse, the driver didn’t even stop at the designated boarding area and drove off without checking for other passengers. This level of negligence is shocking.

What’s even more frustrating is that when I contacted customer service, they simply said they were sorry that I couldn’t find the bus, shifting all the blame onto me instead of acknowledging that the driver arrived late and made an absurdly brief stop.

Because of this, we had to spend extra money and significantly delay our trip. Completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable. I would strongly advise avoiding this service.

One of the worst apps I've ever come…

One of the worst apps I've ever come across(. It's impossible to change language - though I've been living in Spain for several month I'm still learning Spanish and it isn't good enough for undestanding this enormous amount of notifications from the app - I have to screenshot them and then use a translater(. And some functions seem to work incorrectly - I've proved my identity three times and got email confirmation but the app is still demanding it. And there are also minor irritating things

Good afternoon

Good afternoon, our experience is not good, we go France to Lisbon, Lisbon to Paris three times but no time table for eat food no time table for caffe no for toilet, driver stay on hotel only for 10mints , in 10mnt what we do eat, fresh or caffe, driver behavior is bad talk with passenger very rood , we travel 5 times 3 person 4person but after we no go to in black bla bus next time

They don't turn up

They don't turn up so if you want to miss your flight then welcome to the worst bus service in Europe. Flixbus is far more reliable even if it's not punctual sometimes.
