While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

This website is TERRIBLE for host…

This website is TERRIBLE for host reviews. Totally misleading, including what must be fabricated speed numbers. I personally signed up with Dreamhost after reviewing Bitcatcha's webpage, where BitCatcha falsely states that DreamHost costs $3 per month. In reality, $3 is a promo rate which expires after 1 month. DreamHost obfuscates this information, so after reading the info from Bitcatcha, it's very easy to be tricked. But the real issue is the speed on the DreamHosting plan for a major city on the east coast of the US is extremely slow, the exact opposite of the speed Bitcatcha displays. The speed displayed by Bitcatcha was the reason I signed up, but come to find out it is totally bogus! So that's my experience with Bitcatcha.
