I love my new bed
I love my new bed. The quality is amazing and the way it glides on its own to reveal the secret storage space is very magical. I’m a happy customer. If you’re not handy with your hands (or lack common sense like me) I recommend getting someone else to assemble it. Beautiful bed.

Lovely bed but the instructions to build the bed are terrible it was hard to understand and the writing was very small would think twice about buying again

Poor assembly
I purchased from furniture village, where items are assembled for me, your staff were not keen. After a discussion they realise they had to assemble.
Now I realise from the instructions the 25kg glass top is not supposed to slide around, and could easily slide off onto me, none of the top to base screws have been used! They have not been left here either, its dangerous! Spoken to furniture village now, very unhappy with you company!
Then I suggest you get back to me by email as I already waited a week , 2 experiences 2 letdowns says slot, I phoned too, aftershaves are slllllooʻowww

From order to delivery
I was kept upto date with the possible delivery date. Then I was given a date and an hour's window to receive the goods which you can accept or decline. The order came between the hour stated and was brought in by friendly delivery people.

Bought a real wooden wardrobe from Birlea. So pleased with my wardrobe.
Lovely smooth wood, with easy to follow instructions. Very good quality well made and strong.Their communications were excellent, I was emailed with a date and a 1 hour time slot. Delivery sevice was excellent by two drivers,who also left the box the correct way up for me to unpack. Very good quality at a good price. Will buy my next piece of furniture from Birlea.

OMG not a clue where to begin other than this item should come with a BIG WARNING! Birlea Cream and Oak Highgate 3 Door Mirrored Effect Wardrobe
Took almost 5 hours to figure out assembly, every page states twice - no power tools - yet there are hundreds of screws! The ‘material’ (can’t say wood) is so thin in just splits, the instructions need a degree in *gobbledegook* to make any sense. Item looks awful, wonky, misaligned - urgh!
And I have literally made so many furniture items, this took me back to MFI in the 80s when a flatpack caused divorce proceedings.
Good luck to anyone chancing it!

Copenhagen Wooden TV Unit - Oak effect
Mine was delivered by FedEx via my order from MFI. The FedEx courier couldn't deliver mine into my living room (30.0 kg) for insurance purposes, so dragging in to my living room was a drag with my Hernia. The assembly instruction pamphlet wasn't up to spec either so I improvised to complete the assembly. MDF was the material my furnishings were made from as most these days are but for the price, it done the job. I have just seen this unit on your Birlea website named as 'Axel Fluted TV Unit'. I noted the pdf manual header was Chinese so assuming the furnishings too all come from that country.

The problem is the furniture is not…
The problem is the furniture is not that well made. I recieved a new replacement but I've seen ottomans made of solid wood at similar prices and wish I gone down that route. This bed is rickety and I doubt will last the 25 years my previous bed did
