A 'Binky' is a hop and a skip of sheer joy, our wish is for kids to ‘binky’ when opening a gift from our shop. This is also the feeling we wish to evoke in parents having selected that extra special gift from our carefully curated collection which has been tailored to personalities and play focusing on gifting for school aged kids. Postage on their error not reimbursed

My son returned part of an order his choice his expense, the returned items were then resent to us no idea why, i then had to send them back again at my expense another £3.50 postage, item now refunded but would not refund the postage on their error, bad customer service.

Binky is thoughtful, curated and beautiful

I bought a selection of toys for my son's first birthday and was impressed by the fantastic, curated selection there was. Each item is good quality, has useful notes on age range it's for and how easy it is to wrap.

When I had an issue with an item they were quick to rectify it and a replacement was sent out and received within 2 days. So faultless customer service that gives me a huge amount of confidence to buy from here again. Thank you Binky!

Caught my eye immediately when I saw it advertised and knew I had to have it, (bangle) such good quality, perfectly fitting, and just as beautiful as I expected, affordable too unlike some of the crazy prices you see out there, have my eye on a few other pieces and now I know that I am satisfied safe to say I will be buying from you again, thank you! It's a scam!

Had to return a item due to tax charges amounting to 50% of the value of the purchase when shipping to Europe. I was awarded a refund covering only a fraction of the original price because they claim the item was returned damaged and unsellable. A complete scam.

Dear Stefano,

You did not place the order with Binkyshop.co.uk. So your review is not valid, your review is also invalid because we are not a scam company therefore your comments are liable. What we are not is a charity, that's said we do donate well over 1% of our yearly revenue to registered children charities, and I suspect that the item you are discussing will also be donated to a charity.

Ms Jolanda Tirelli placed an order with us on the 11th November it was shipped that day Via DPD in good faith and in line with our T&C's to a cost in total to Binky Ltd £38 (not the £20 shipping she paid) I remind you of our T&C's which are available on our website at point of order & very easy to access. I have also reminded you of those T&C's throughout our communication:

'When shipping to Europe it is the consumers responsibility to pay any duty's or tax's due. If the shipment is returned to sender because duties are not paid, Binky Ltd will charge a reprocessing fee of £10 to take products back into stock and any duties to be paid before offering a refund.'

On the 16th November you contacted me on behalf of Ms Jolanda Tirelli, demanding a refund because Ms Jolanda Tirelli was unwilling to pay the duties due. I remind you of our T&C's above.

I investigated, and found that the Duties that were due where €36. I offered to support the situation by paying1/2 of this cost by offering a refund if you accepted the goods. A very kind offer in the circumstances, and well beyond what most businesses would offer.

This was not acceptable to you.

I again reminded you of the T&C's plus that if the product was damaged in transit due to the nature of this return, we would be unable to offer a refund.

This was not acceptable to you.

The duties were not paid & the parcel was returned to the UK.

When the parcel was returned for processing our fulfilment centre found: The parcel had been was opened by the Italian Customs team, and damaged because they got pen on the product.

Reminding you of our T&C's that if items are damaged and unsalable a refund will not be offered.

Again I stepped in and offered a reduced refund to cover the damage.

'However, as a gesture of good will, we will offer this item for sale as a damaged stock item with a 25% discount in the hope that someone will offer to purchase it. If not, it will be given to charity, we partner with the Toy Project who as a charity provide second hand toys to underprivileged children.'

I issued Ms Jolanda Tirelli the refund due minus 25% cost of the product, which was completely just and fair given it is damaged and not sellable at full cost.

This was not acceptable to you.

I remind you that to date we Binky Ltd has bought a product and sold with only a 45% margin, paid £38 in shipping and packing charges. Plus £10 in processing fee's and also processed the refund due for a product minus 25%.

We are out of pocket to the tune of far more the €18, because you and Ms Jolanda Tirelli were unwilling to pay duties set by the Italian government - not Binky Ltd. Or heed T&C's.

Ms Jolanda Tirelli is out of pocket because you where unwilling to accept an offer of support from a small independent business who has invested a huge about of care and time into your issue. Plus also lost revenue.

Therefore Stefano Vitali, I suggest that you take a long look at the way you have approached this situation. Rather than issuing liable statements and reviews on the internet.

I would also ask you to look at all the wonderful reviews we have received from very happy customers who have received their cherished purchases. Plus received the same careful & considerate customer service we have offered you and Ms Jolanda Tirelli throughout this process.

It was you whom refused our offer to pay half the duties due, a sum which was wholly the responsibility of Ms Jolanda Tirelli to pay.

Great quality special toys

The quality of all products I've bought from this site have been outstanding. My daughters, nieces and nephews ranging from 1 through to 16 have each loved their presents! Delivery is always very prompt. A go too online retailer for me :)
