Bilt rewards is not processing payments…

Bilt rewards is not processing payments the way they should. They're causing problems for people.
People are forced to use them to pay rent and they have nothing but issues with their website and processes.
It's time the State and Federal level knows and looks at them.

I had a very stressful experience using…

I had a very stressful experience using Bilt for a mortgage payment. There was unclear communication, very delayed support, and confusion around payment status, which required multiple follow-ups and coordination with my bank. My account was restricted while the issue was still unresolved. This process was time-consuming and caused unnecessary stress. I would not feel confident using this service again for important financial transactions.

Bilt customer support is non existent

Bilt customer support is non existent. I was locked out of the ability to pay my rent electronically because Bilt had an issue. I proved to both my property management company and Bilt that my bank account was not closed yet I am still locked out of electronic payments 30+ days later. BILT IS HORRIBLE AND A SCAM.

Poor service and performance for Bilt

Their new portal since the 2.0 update has a lot of issues. And now recently the travel portal is glitchy. I made a purchase for travel with points that said it was "processing" but didn't actually go through. Lost all my points and it's been 5 days with still no resolve and my points back that I've earned. Their customer support gives no timeframes and you sit waiting hoping you eventually hear from someone. It's poor customer service and experience.

Stolen and abused my medical history

I am getting emails out of the blue containing my prescription history asking if I would like to connect my pharmacy purchases with this platform. I have no idea how these people have access to my medication history and I would not allow them to do so if I had any choice.

Customer service is non-existent

Customer service is non-existent. Trusted BILT to send a rent check after I paid them my rent. They didn't send it for 3 weeks, making me miss my rent payment. Horrible, horrible company. If you want to talk to a human there are literally zero options;.

I can't believe I am forced to use this terrible service

Bilt is somehow the worst rent paying experience I have ever had, and I have had to take a landlord to small claims over a lost rent check. Firstly, I hate the gamification of my bills. Secondly, terrible UI that I'm sure cost millions, that doesn't even let me pay rent half the time. I have to physically go to my leasing office with screenshots proving it broke. Lastly, why did you partner with Mr. Beast? I live in low income housing and you're making me look at his rich soulless husk every time I log in. In the revolution Mr. Beast will be the first culled and we will all be better off for it.

Interest Charges

Just had a really bad experience with my Bilt Palladium credit card that people should know about.
I had no prior balance and set up autopay through their website to “pay statement balance in full” every month. On my recent statement, they applied some credits, and instead of simply paying the full statement balance like the setting says, their system paid a smaller amount. Then they charged me interest anyway.
I never chose to pay less than the statement balance, and every other card I’ve had treats “pay statement balance in full” as the way to avoid interest when you don’t carry a balance. The way Bilt/Cardless has implemented this feels misleading at best.
I’ve contacted them, pushed back on the charge, and filed complaints with CFPB and my state’s attorney general. If you have this card, carefully check whether your autopay actually pays the statement balance and whether you’re being charged “mystery” interest despite doing everything right.

Would leave zero stars if I could. Horrid customer service that never gets to escalations. Now I’m being charged a minimum balance for a statement that should be $0.

Bilt lost my mortgage payment charge back

Bilt initially charged my mortgage payment incorrectly and refunded the amount to me. The 2nd time I processed the payment, the amount was "paid" in bilt, but the bank account saw the 2nd transaction and rejected it.

However, this was not reflected in my bilt instance. Now, my bank account says I haven't paid my mortgage while bilt's portal shows it has. My monthly mortgage is >$8k and the fees I'm incurring for this is racking up very fast.

Customer service can't provide any fast resolution and can't commit to any timeline on when it'll be resolve, now I have $8k lost in Bilt's system with no clear timeline on resolution

Just stick with Amex/Chase

No customer service. Received same response to ACTIVATING A CARD...from a credit card company. You can't talk to a human so you are stuck in a loop. 3 outstanding issues, with 1 issue being over 1.5 Months old. Lost all faith, and joining the rankis of people who will go back to Chase Reserve.

Absolute trash company

Absolute trash company. About the only thing they are any good at is avoiding their customers who need service. On that front they have established a rather sophisticated ecosystem designed entirely to run you in circles between chat bots and automated emails. If you do eventually get to human support they sound like they are picking up a cell phone at a noisy party. This level of ineptitude would be unacceptable from a retailer, but from a financial services company? Fak outta here, Bilt.

DISASTER

DISASTER! Is there less than 1 star for this pretend credit card company! ZERO live agents or customer support for a credit card is wildly unacceptable. I am stunned the feds haven't shut them down!! Have a dispute, send an email is there automated response. Staggeringly awful is mildly describing them!!

This is no longer a credit card anymore! I’m disappointed with this new cards I use to pay my rent and pay it later. Had other things to pay like my moms medicine. They never said anything its like they trick everybody without saying anything. This calls for law suits

An OK card now sucks.

What was an okay card before is now useless. The minute I made my rent payment with my Bilt card, I got a text letting me know that the money would be taken from my linked bank account in 24 hours. What is the point of the credit card then? It is literally pointless to have a card if I need to pay it with cash myself. Better just to do it on my own debit card.

Good concept, poor execution

We use Bilt as our rent payment portal at my apartment. I have been using it for 1 year 4 months. The app is continually very slow and laggy, and often, buttons disappear (ie, adding an account). Game at end of month is slow and laggy and does not always open. water bill does not post until due date, and Bilt does not let you pay early. ACH transfers take 1-3 business days, but does not post on Bilt until the day it is due. So annoying!

Built is the absolute worst

Built is the absolute worst, it will still not me disconnect my bank account from the credit card that has been canceled for 2 months, it is unbelievable. You cannot talk to anyone. It's the worst, please don't do that to yourself anymore, she just walked out into the ocean and kept going.

Would leave 0 stars if I could

Would leave 0 stars if I could. They are holding my points hostage, and have passed me around through various emails and phone numbers for over two weeks without offerring any solution or help. It's the worst customer service I've ever received from any company, let alone a credit card. BILT is a scam to try and get users to miss payments and carry balances by making things as confusing as possible and delaying any sort of response when you have a legitimate question.
