Was not aware our area is deemed hard…
Was not aware our area is deemed hard to reach even though it is classed under Hong Kong Island. I was unable to track delivery and because of busyness over this Easter period the delivery company Cool Express did not answer any calls for information.
Otherwise my order arrived well packed and much appreciated.

Composition not matching actual product
Composition Description isn’t matching website. I ordered droewors, on website it doesn’t contain sugar. But on actual package there is dextrose..

Would order again
Great next day delivery service. Ordered original beef, Kudu, Ostrich and wet chunks. The first 3 were great but the wet chunks contained a lot of fat and gristle which made it unpleasant to eat. Would definitely order the first 3 again.

Managing customer expectations
This was my first order with Biltong Chief. I appreciate they just moved warehouses but the fact that I had to report I was missing items from my order only after the delivery in the afternoon when they were aware they could not locate the beef tenderloins in the morning reflects poor customer service. It is simple. Manage customer expectations. If they had communicated the issue in the morning when they found out, I would be more understanding.
Thanks Dylan for your response and I appreciate the manic circumstances which you and your team were under. Yes I will consider using your services again.

I am sorry about your experience and that you were one of the customers that were impacted by the warehouse complications that we had when moving. I agree with you that you received poor customer service. Unfortunatley, between moving warehouse, pick and pack and delivery team we did not know the impact and exactly which customers were going to be affected and with what products until in some cases it was too late.
This is without a doubt something that we should have had better control of and was an in-house issue which should not have been passed on to the customer, so I really I am sorry about this experience, especially because we pride ourselves on the customer service we provide.
I hope that you give us a second chance, not only to enjoy our products but to give you the customer service that you deserve.
Thanks again for the feedback, it really does help us put systems in place to address issues like this.
