Awful set-up experience. BILL will call you back but will transfer you to many customer service reps, migration people if you have complex questions. Spent 2 hours on hold with chat they kept disconnecting me. We are stuck with BILL for now but will eventually switch to RAMP or some better software for better customer service

This company has a customer service that id have to say is one of the worst. They failed to put thru a deposit on time, blamed the payee using the system, turns out it wasnt the payee at fault. Told to wait another day when payment hadn't arrived they'd "trace" it. When asked what happens when it doesn't arrive and that the possible timetable is to get it resolved was told by rep named Cedric that they dont deal in "what ifs" and will hand it over to an investigation team. He followed up by saying it'll take a while, when asked if that meant days or weeks, he said "who knows?" Payment had to be made by direct wire transfer circumventing Bill.com and now the payee is left getting the funds returned from this company. Mistakes happen but this company and its frivolous approach to an error 100% on thier part is nothing short of unprofessional.

Basically impossible to get any support on this platform. I have spent weeks just trying to get access to my account, and you are locked behind chat that is useless and told me three times they had removed a block on my account. They refused to escalate multiple times, and when they finally did, the next person would randomly call me from a number that my phone automatically blocked as spam. When I tried to setup a time with them, they called an hour after the time. Maybe the worst customer service and support I have ever had with an enterprise solution in my 20 year career.

They added me, without my consent, to what they call "autoconnect" and it was an insane amount of difficulty and time to get them to help remove me. I am not their customer and have no account with them, but they keep sending messages about how they've now autoconnected me with various organizations. I never signed up for that and do not want that. They have no phone nor email support for this-- I had to waste time looking on their website searching for how to get removed but nothing on their website offers that option, and their autoconnect emails that I get do not allow one to unsubscribe from autoconnect. When I called in, I was told the only option is to use their chat. I spent over 45 minutes on that chat. Their representative on chat also gave misinformation (e.g., telling me there's not way to get removed from their marketing). I told him legally that is now allowed, and then he consulted with his team and corrected himself. The way this company operates is awful! Most people will not take over an hour to do this stuff.

This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. They are completely clueless and have no visibility into other support calls. I’ve spent 6+ hours this week on hold for them to have the same conversation with me about them not knowing where my funds are that I’m paying them to finance. Never again.

I used Bill.com years ago and it was fine. We tried to use them again and it was a disaster. Had to get set up to send ACH payments to our contractors and the verification document, and you provide it, then they ask for another document. It's an endless loop. Because I believed their hype I thought it would be a great fit for us. Meanwhile, they made me late getting payments to my team. It's not like I was signing up for a credit card processor. I literally added my business bank account and said take funds from here and send it here. They stopped communicating with me on Friday at noon and I heard NOTHING until Tuesday afternoon. That's ridiculous. I do feel bad for their account reps, they have to do damage control with upset customers.

They will hold your money for a long time before you get paid. Indeed, I wasted one hour of my life dealing with their customer service to get paid. They will claim that there was a problem with your bank or the info you provided. Their business model seems to push for a debit card payment so that they can charge 1% in fees. The delay seems to be a strategy to annoy users trying to circumvent the fee or a method to hold money in their investments to profit before paying users. In my opinion, there is no advantage whatsoever for getting paid with Bill over other well established methods like ACH, Zelle, Paypal or Venmo.

This company allows people to steal checks and can never speak to a real person it's always a chat bot.
This company is a scam and should be shut down and face charges
do NOT use them for anything!
They allowed a settlement check to go to someone else and did so without speaking to the rightful owner hell they didn't even ask for any kind of ID
This company was built by cons for cons
UPDATE
Yes they are contacting me with the same questions over and over
Basically they messed up and want to play games
Time to call an attorney on this scam company!!!

Please don't ever use bill.com to pay your employees. They are the worst company that gives you a 2-4 day processing window for paychecks! I have never worked for a company that uses a payroll company that has a 2-4 day processing time. When you have a payday that comes with the expectation of being paid. Being paid ontime, and so that I can pay my bills. It's like a gamble everytime paychecks come to find out if you will get paid on time. Also, their customer service does nothing to assist and they are awful. Save yourself the time and the headache and find a reputable payroll company.

Someone created a fake account using my companies name and sent emails to that company to use the bill.com account. Customers sent money to a fake account and bill.com takes zero responsibility. The best part is I do not use bill.com so how is this my fault. The lesson here is to stay away from fintech companies who have zero legal responsibility for anything. Also note that customer service is non existent.

I have sent several customers invoices and Bill.com will hold the funds to earn interest. IT happens every time. These guys are snakes, batching money is what they say, but they are borrowing and earning interest using your hard earned cash. Avoid.. just send clients ACH details and avoid this dirty brand.

Bill.com’s “Instant Transfer” is a joke. They advertise it like payments will hit your account right away, but what they don’t tell you is that it only works if the payer also has a Bill.com account. Most clients don’t, which makes the feature practically useless. You don’t find this out until after you’ve signed up and are waiting on funds.
The messaging is misleading, the fine print is buried, and the customer support just repeats scripted answers instead of solving the issue. Calling this service “instant” is deceptive and wastes valuable time for anyone relying on quick payment.
If you need reliability and speed, look elsewhere. This platform overpromises and underdelivers.

This company is dishonest. When I first contacted them to receive payment for a job I did through a third-party vendor, I was told I could either pay a percentage of the total and get the funds immediately, or I could get ALL of the money that was due by waiting 1-4 business days. I opted for the wait. It has been a week and a day and I STILL do not have the money. I will NEVER do business with these people again - even if it means missing out on work from the third-party vendor.
AND a quick text from the vendor informed me that the money was withdrawn from his company's account on 8/29, so clearly they are not delivering on their promises!

Worse company ever for getting business credit. I was approved for the line of credit. Not even 10 minutes later after trying to use the credit to purchase on Amazon. Our account was close. Then we never got a phone call, email, or text about closure. We found out by trying to login again

I have multiple business accounts that use Bill.com. My employee had to leave on medical leave and was unavailable. Me, being the owner of the Company, requested access to my very own company's accounts. I needed to pay bills including mortgage payments, vendors, reimbursements to employees, etc. - they would NOT let me speak to a customer service representative. They would only route me to the online chat window. For a period of 6 days, I kept trying and trying and trying to get someone to understand that I was the owner and had an account and that I needed access to said account. I guess along time ago I signed up for a trial account and it was inactive for a while, even though my company has a full fledge working account since 2022. That said, I just wanted to access my working account and they could not do it. Literally 6 days before I could get back access to my account - and NO ONE WOULD SPEAK TO ME - only a chat window. I was lucky to find Margie, the only sensible and capable support agent at the company. I told Bill.com they should make her the CEO based on her capabilities. It was such a bad experience that I am going to move on to another company now.

My account was immediately closed and Bill.com later billed me 700$ because I apprently used my business cards on a few payments. Wouldn’t let me dispute since my account was closed. Never saw proof of any charges etc.

Imagine a red-hot needle inserted into one of your nerve endings. Now imagine red-hot needles inserted into every single one of your nerve endings. Now imagine those red-hot needles being inserted into every single one of your nerve endings for every single second for an eternity. You never get used to the pain, it never dulls. Just red-hot needles directly on every single one of your nerves for eternity. That is what it feels like to use Bill.com.

BILL Spend & Expense (Divvy) is hands down the most useless ‘business card’ provider I’ve ever dealt with. They shut down my entire account over a $10 test transaction — not fraud, not abuse, just me confirming my new card actually worked. Instead of helping, they hid behind their rigid ‘terms of service’ and treated me like a criminal.
Imagine running a legitimate business and having your corporate card pulled overnight for something this petty. That’s BILL/Divvy. Zero flexibility, zero understanding of how real businesses operate, and absolutely no respect for their customers.
If you’re a serious business owner, don’t waste your time here. There are plenty of real banks and providers who actually support businesses — not shut them down over nonsense. BILL proves with their actions that they don’t value clients, and they certainly don’t deserve your trust.
