Very quick shipping -- Our second Tow Leash.

This leash is great, I looked at a lot of different bike leashes. Very happy I spent a little more money and bought the Bike Tow Leash. I can get on and off my bike without the leash being in the way. My pup just took a few minutes to get use to it. I sent in a picture of my gear set up, I went with the right side adapter, it was easy to install.

It is a great concept, but the attachments need serious work. The metal plates are only covered on the flat sides on the horizontal plane, but not on the top and bottom! This gives the plates the opportunity to scrape the seatstay from the chainstay attachment. I WOULD NOT USE ON A CARBON BIKE AT ANY COSTS, especially on a dual suspension bike. The seat stay will move and bump into the top of the bike tow leash attachment causing serious damage to your carbon bike. I have to take mine in for 400 dollars worth of carbon repairs and w/out a bike for 3 weeks. Upset is an understatement. Use on a cheap cruiser or hybrid bike with a long chain stay. Another issue I encountered was that as I would pedal, my heel would bump into the lead attachment. This was due to a short chain stay which is found on most modern 29 in MTB geometries. This has not been accounted for in the attachment design. I should have known that it would not be safe for carbon bike use and really should have thought ahead on this product. I REALLY wanted it to be flawless. Besides the damage and attachment flaws, the idea is really good, and the lead reduces the forces of any sort of pull really well. It also helps your pal know where to be and be comfortable alongside the bike.

Our 5 year old German Short Hair Pointer loves to run at lease a mile every morning. He is very unhappy if you don't take him and he will just sit by the bike waiting. He would be totally uncontrollable without our Bike Tow Leash because if a bird crosses out path he wants to go after it and the Bike Tow Leash keeps him going in the direction I want to go and he can not pull the bike out from under me.

I've tried it with my 70lb aussie mix and he can be very reactive around other animals and doesn't like running at anything less than warp speed. The btl performed as good as I had hoped if not better and kept my dog in place, he had a great time.

I've used the Bike Tow Leash every day since I received it in the mail. My dog is a medium-sized, husky and sheepdog mix with a very high level of energy. She is loving to bike with me now! I hardly have to pedal and she loves to go fast. I definitely use my brakes a lot, lol. I feel in control even if she lunges after a squirrel. The Bike Tow Leash keeps her safely beside my bike and I'm able to maintain my path. The customer service was excellent. I got answers to my questions online in a matter of minutes, and the product was shipped first thing the next day. It was fairly expensive, especially with shipping and duty to Canada, but I think I will get my money's worth. It was a bit of a challenge figuring out the best way to attach it to my older bike. I ended up using the quick mount, but now it's quite easy to take on and off my bike. I'm a happy customer! And my dog is happy, too.

Great service from Mike, he helped me though the whole process and gave outstanding advice, he even talked me though the process of attaching the bike tow leash to my wheelchair. The dog loves it 10/10 👍I would recommend this product to all wheelchair users with dogs
