The leashe worked very nice for 1 year and the started to fall apart. I have patched it with duck tape but that is now failing.

I've had a Bike Toe Leash for several years now . I ride a recumbent trike. The attachment was interesting as the dog runs to the right of the rear wheel but behind the right front wheel. When I purchased it I had a 9 year old lab. For Murphy, it was not love at first hook up but after 2 or 3 minutes he loved trotting along side the trike. Murphy died 2 years after I got the tow leash and I now have a 10 month old lab who loves running alongside when I ride, nice and safe.

I love my Bike Tow Leash and my dog loves his runs. I think it's a lot safer than other designs I've seen that attach higher on the bike, as it's less likely for my dog to pull me over if he pulls sideways with the low attachment point.

Excellent product. I like that it attaches low on the bike and is flexible so that my dog has some leeway to move a bit without affecting the bike itself. Very nice design. Would highly recommend.

I have 2 of these on 2 bikes. The original is 5 years old. These things last forever. I bike with a 100 lb German Shepherd almost everyday. I use a harness on him and sometimes a leash as well when I have to navigate deer or foxes. There is no way I could exercise him enough without these. Because I use a harness and let him pull me, both bikes have disk brakes used to rate his speed. I learned to never brake really hard when he is running hard or when I am on slippery winter roads even with studded tires. Those are the only times I worry about him pulling the bike out from under me. If your dog is smaller and you don't let him or her run full tilt this would never be an issue. We, however, have been clocked at just under 30 km/hour. Get a helmet, it's ridiculously fun.

It is an excellent product and works great! It keeps my Husky away from the bike and he absolutely can’t pull me over. It completely absorbs the shock/pull. The only problem we’ve had is his paws get small tears from running too hard. I’d highly recommend very short distances (1/2 to 1 mile) the first week or two as your dog’s paws develop toughness. Great product! Thank you!

Love my bike tow leash. I used it with my Weimaraner who loved to run. Due to cancer she had to have a front leg amputated and she was still able to run alongside my bike with the tow leash. I now have 2 dogs so I bought the tow leash connector and they can run tandem right next to each other. Because of the low connection point of the tow leash to the bike the dogs ( one is 53 lbs and one is 40 lbs ) cannot pull me over on the bike....and I weight 110 lbs and am over 69 years old. The tow leash is great because it keeps the dogs running at your side so you are able to keep watch and be aware of what they are doing while you ride.

Perfect for our 75 pound Weimaraner. I am legally blind, have a three wheel bike and Thor loves his runs! Safe, efficient!

The best thing I have EVER bought for my dog AND me.

Our bike tow leash has been invaluable! Our big dog needed plenty of exercise and I use a gofer! Sadly we no longer have Ben but I still use it with visiting dogs.

The yellow 'leash' part that connects to the dog never worked right. Customer service was very kind and responsive and tried to help by suggesting many ways to possibly loosen it up as they were hearing from a few others that some were having the same problem, I tried for weeks and weeks with their hints and tips, I had other people try, even had a mechanic try, I told the company and instead of sending me a replacement part for defective one the Bike Tow leash now sadly sits on a shelf in the garage and can't be used.

Mike as you know I love the Towleash. As a dog trainer it is important that my tools are safe and last. I needed an easy way to teach dogs to run with me on my trike and the towleash was the answer for me. Love it and thank you.

While it worked for a time, there was one accident in which the bike hit a pothole and the toe leash created an additional factor and there was a spill. Dog won't go near it since.

Excellent invention and works exactly as described and provides 100% protection for dogs and cyclist. I have had one on each side for my two rescue dogs that are part lab and they go for a run on bike 6 days per week (I have dog power😀) so pedaling is quite easy and zero issues on control of dogs as they are completely controlled by the tow leash

The bike tow leash is fantastic. I walk my Great Dane with my motorised scooter as I am disabled. It gives me total confidence that she is where I want her as we walk even in unknown areas or with other other dogs around. This is a wonderful product. Well done

I purchased the bike tow leash at Todd Langston's recommendation approximately 9 yrs ago and used it regularly for my younger male Rhodesian Ridgeback very successfully. It was not as successful for my older male, as he could still pull me off balance. Since then, I have had 3 joint replacements, 2 were not great, so I am no longer able to ride a bike. I have loaned mine out on trial numerous times and still recommend it.

My English Setter and I enjoy it for mile after mile. A very safe way to take your buddy for a good run.
