Bikerswear Birmingham

I bought a helmet camera from them which developed a fault within warranty. It was sent back to them for repair, but the fault was either not fixed or it re-occurred. They wouldn't organise a replacement until I sent the camera back to them, which I did for a second time, but they claim they never received it, so I now have no camera and no sign of help from them, despite many emailed and telephone complaints.
AVOID THIS COMPANY!

Avoid

Avoid - bought a Shark helmet at the bike show in London. Developed a fault within a week, they referred me to Shark! Refused to refund or replace. Use this lot at your peril.

Shoei GT Air 3 and intercom…

Bought a Shoei GT3 Air helmet and intercom SRL3 from the shop. Friendly and helpful. I bought my last Shoei from the too. Got home and couldn’t fathom out where to locate the wires for the receiver, kept fouling on the chin pad. Phoned BW and they sent me a simpleton video, and ta da all sorted. Big thanks.

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!!! I brought a shark helmet from Bikers wear at the nec good price when I got home took it out of the box I found the nose breath guard missing. I sent them an email about this and 4 days later I was asked for my address and they would get shark to send the part to my house which was fine, after about 3 weeks still nothing so I sent another email and I was told that this helmet didn't come with this park.so I went to my local bike shop took a photo sent it to them and never heard a thing back.WOULD GIVE THEM A WIDE BERTH AT ALL COST

Not nice to deal with

Bought new boots from this company at the NEC bike show. Within minutes, i found the same boots £80 cheaper at another stall so I went back to Bikers Wear to ask if they would do a price match or if it was possible to return the boots & get a refund. I was met with a terrible and patronising attitude. The horrible chap said he had spoken to the shop owner & they didn't have to do a thing. Not nice people & not a nice experience.

I ordered a pair of Black Rock heated…

I ordered a pair of Black Rock heated grips from Bikerswear. Couldn’t fault the service I received. Very fastdelivery. They replied to my Emails quickly & answered my questions almost immediately. From my experience with them I will be a returning customer. Thanks guys

Helmet not in stock after I paid…

Helmet not in stock after I paid despite showing as a stock item, no replies to my question regarding other stock, had to wait for refund to appear back in my account before I could order from a company (Moto Central Midlands) who did have the helmet in stock.

Great at sales but not after-sales.

Great range of clothing at attractive prices.
The jacket I ordered was delivered promptly but, after a very short time, one of the seams failed due to a manufacturing (stitching) fault.
The bikerswear website has a “returns and warranty claims” section. I clicked on the link to download a warranty return form but the link didn’t work.
I therefore emailed bikerswear asking for advice. I attached photos of the fault. No acknowledgement or reply has been received.
I can’t really be bothered to chase them up. I’ll get the jacket repaired locally.

Astounding value, quality and performance. I have bought from this company several times and they are totally reliable. Their competitive price, dispatch and delivery is remarkable.

Absolutely amazing, total trust

Absolutely amazing. I lost my wedding ring and just on a wild long-shot I emailed them. They searched through their warehouse and went through the packages and actually found my ring buried deep inside a boot that I had returned. They went max effort to find it just on a wild off-chance; I had no hope to find it.

And the real point is that the boots were excellent, when I tried on the size wasn't quite right so I ordered another size and they immediately accepted the return, no questions asked and immediate refund. They have 100% feedback rating on ebay and excellent customer service. I have total trust in these guys.

Scammers!!!!!

Ordered a pair of boots online via amazon with these con artists.
Size said UK 5.5 online, only for a 41 to be sent and marked on the order after purchase for £279.99
I obviously sent back for a FULL refund, only to see that they'd taken off £22+
When I called them, the said they'd done it because the box was damaged?!
Well thank god I took pics before I sent back. They'd sent out a pair which were obviously NOT new, the tag was off, they were marked and had been tried on, so more like ex display. Messaged them about this, they denied it.
Absolutely abysmal service, avoid these like the plague. You show me from the pictures where the box was damaged?
Obviously this is what they do to make money.
Send out items which are the wrong thing, then claim they're "damaged" on return and take a part of the refund.
Funnily, I called Amazon and only the claim was filed with no actual evidence from them. Funny that.
Amazon now investigating.

Really difficult to get refund for faulty product

Really difficult to get refund for faulty product. They were fine when I ordered the product - it was sent quickly. But it failed after 2 weeks. They tried every trick in the book to avoid giving me a refund. They ignored emails; said I would have to speak to the manufacturer and even said that they couldn't give me a refund as they wouldn't be able to resell the product. I had to pay to send the faulty product back. They initially refunded 20% of the price paid.

Best avoided. Find a competitor who is willing to put things right if they go wrong.

I dealt with bikerswear_uk via eBay . Abysmal customer service. I needed to exchange a jacket for a larger size but once they have your money they completely ignore you . Emails aren’t replied to, phone never answered. A real tin pot Mickey Mouse rip off, I dealt with a guy called Chan that sent me the purchase receipt. After that he disappeared. Save your money and a lot of hassle and deal with trusted retailers that have earned a great reputation. I was foolishly drawn to a low price. I’m not convinced the item is genuine- it might be counterfeit. I’ll be talking to Trading Standards and the Office of Fair Trading. Zero points out of 10 given on any aspect of their service. Just scroll past !

Friendly family run business, great prices.

I visited the Birmingham branch having been elsewhere locally. Unlike their competition the guys at Bikers Wear couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful not to mention their bargain prices. I’ll be dealing with them in future.
