Ordered online and then no further communication. Called and emailed with no response. After a month of nothing arriving, I had to do a credit card chargeback just to get my money back.

Brought my electric bike in as I knew there was something wrong with the rear breaks, and wanted a service.
They called me to tell me the cost of the works (135, for service, new break pads and they said I needed a software update). I said ok to the price, didn’t really want to pay for the extra update but didn’t mind for that price. When I arrived to collect the bike three hours later it’s £185 because they said they added it up wrong when they called me. I said that it’s unfair to charge me that as I didn’t agree to it or particularly want the upgrade. They said they couldn’t take the update off but would put my old break pads (what I had originally came in for!!) back on if I wanted and refund me for that part, so still charging me for the update and service at £135! So I would have paid £135 and left with the same dodgy breaks I had arrived with. Not even apologetic, just said well the work is done. Was pleased to find a local shop to maintain my Tern but will not return ever again. Scam.

Went in to get a puncture fixed, the man in the shop was rude, aggressive and ended up telling me to leave the shop. Absolutely avoid at all costs, I would be giving a 0 star if I could.

Useless. Shop elsewhere or go without. Online order. Took payment and then nothing. Phoned twice, emailed three times. Guy on the phone needs a course in customer service.

Absolutely horrible people
Absolutely horrible people. My bike sustained a puncture when I was 25 minutes from home. After a quick Google search and asking a couple of nice people I found 'The Bike Shop' with 10 minutes left until closing. They said they weren't prepared to repair the puncture, fair enough - so I asked for an inner tube and had the bike upside down and wheel off while the guy found me one. I could have fitted the tube within 5 minutes,
easy. Then they suddenly said I couldn't use their pump because they were closing. So I asked what I was supposed to do then? They said, "Buy our cheapest one for £25." I walked out and had to run home pushing my bike to avoid returning too late for my children's football practice which they look forward to all week.

Very poor customer service, rude and unhelpful. Dismissive and wouldn’t listen.
Waste of time avoid
Waste of time. Ordered an in stock item from their website. Nothing arrived in 7 days so I called them.
A complete moron answered and took my order number and said someone will probably call me later.
I asked to cancel the order and got an email 5 mins later saying the item wasn’t even in stock.
No contact, no updates all week and just wasted my time. Very rude.

Bike House cancelled my bike order after taking payment. I paid almost £400 for a bike that was stated as in stock when I ordered it online. Several days later I received an email just stating the order was cancelled and they had no idea when the bike would be available. No apologies so I will not deal with this company again, I do not trust them and I should have looked at all the other awful reviews

I ordered a cycle helmet to be delivered, but unfortunately it did not fit comfortably, so I wanted to return it.
After three attempts to the returns procedure online did not work, so I tried phoning the store. It took several attempts to get an answer despite letting the phone ring for some time.
However, it wasn't worth the effort as the person on the end of the line didn't give two hoots about entertaining a return, was very dismissive and told me to go online, which of course was why I was phoning!
I would advise that customers go elsewhere and shop with somebody who has a more renowned name and reputation,whilst I head off to eBay to try and sell what I clearly won't be able to return!

I placed an online order for a BMC 257 AL THREE NEXUS 8 on a Saturday and received the boxed bike on the following Wednesday for self assembly which took about one hour.
I received continuous delivery progress until safe receipt of the package.
The purchase was at a very competitive price and the process met with my total satisfaction.
