Shipment lost by UPS + improvable customer service follow up
Shipment lost by UPS. Reaching out regularly to Bikeflip about the status of my shipment and they are telling me their "logistics department" is checking with UPS the situation (while it just takes a phone call to UPS to create a claim and to realize after 10 days of "investigations" that my shipment has been lost).
After 10 days no news from lost shipment. I had to call myself Bikeflip and to get a bit mad on the phone to get an ASAP refund procedure. BTW the contact phones number on Bikeflip website were not working from France and Switzerland. Try this one instead if you really want to get someone on the phone : +39 320 6257475

Intuitive user interface, it is really easy to place an ad. Bike specs being retrieved automatically instead of painstakingly entering everything manually was great.
The whole process from placing an ad to payout is well thought through and I was kept updated frequently when the next step was taking place.
The only weak link was FedEx, who missed both their own estimated time of delivering the packaging material and picking up the bike. I was in contact with the Bikeflip customer service about this, but they had already arranged a new pick up time, as the saw that the original pick up slot was missed. Very friendly and good service!
As an improvement suggestion, it would be great, if the pick up time could be agreed with the customer upfront and not only ”pushed forward”, since not everyone is at home all the time

Good experience buying a bike from Bikeflip. The shipping (since the day the seller sends the bike) is very fast. Would be nice if they have notification when the bike will be delivered.

Bikeflip better than any other online bike shops.
I'm really happy with the service provided, the shipping was super fast, the frame came in perfect conditions and the support was fast and precise.
The only little thing to mention, as you are asking me to fill in this survey, is that the frame was sold in "components" and from there was not possible to ship to the Netherlands. When the post was changed to "Bikes" the shipping price increased considerable. (6x times) from 19 eur to 119 eur. Its true that 19 is way to cheap for a frame shipping but is just the fact that one think about one price and at the end the price is increased.
Anyway Im very satisfied with the purchase.
