I asked for a replacement valve for a high pressure bicycle tyre. The price £2.00. I couldn't fit it (which is entirely down to me). Nice to find somewhere that sells small bits at sensible prices

From start to finish buying a wet suit was a pleasure.
I took my 13 year old shy niece to buy another wetsuit. She's growing, and I want a couple of years of use from the kit.
The tailored fitting service in the morning was spot on, with a relaxed and super knowledgeable staff member, Sally, who had just a brilliant way with her.
She listened to our needs, (sport/ financial/ growth) and with a couple of goes at trying different suits we are the happy owners of kit that has been great in river, sea and on paddle board.
I trust their impartial advice. I'll be back for a wetsuit myself soon.
Absolute VILE bike mechanic. Racist and discriminatory.
I visted the store on Friday, and was advised by a lady that it would be better to purchase a new bike for my daughter then to pay for the repairs. Fast forward Monday, I bring the brand new bike to the store to get breaks assembled.
The disgusting decrepit bald bike mechanic was extremely rude and disrespectful in-front of my child stating even if he had the time, he would not look at my daughters bike because it’s “cheap”.
Consistently amazing… great knowledge, fantastic service and servicing… so lucky to have these guys local… I See a few negative reviews, you simply cannot please everyone… I’ll continue to buy my swim, bike and run gear from here as they at least know what they are talking about… anyone not prepared to wait … maybe Sports Direct more for them???
Arrogant and extremely prejudiced person, unfortunately too typical of many cycle servicing shops. I advise all who are not of the mainstream ethnicity to AVOID like the plague - I only proceeded due to desperation on my commute.
Barely and with a nasty shrug and scowl, he grunted about a 20min wait as he was busy with a repair - I'd only asked to buy a chain and 2 nuts - about 20sec of work! As I pressed him, one at a time 3 other customers entered, HE STOPPED TO SERVE THEM each immediately - with a cheerful smile. In between, I received my products as he could not deny he was now generally at his counter.
Desperate to just get out, I did not check the receipt: he had, quoted £9 then overcharged me BY £10.00!! Poor experiences like this are why I prefer to shop as much as possible online, and I give one star as I don't think I could give zero.
