Big Parrot Tapas & Bar in Manchester Reviews 

We had an amazing experience at Big Parrot Tapas and Bar for my dad’s birthday! We were a group of about ten people, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived. Even on short notice, they accommodated us with a great table on the terrace, which we really appreciated.

The food was fantastic—everything we tried was delicious, but the highlight was definitely their newest menu option, the grilled octopus. It was perfectly cooked and full of flavor! The drinks were great as well, and the overall atmosphere made for a really enjoyable evening.

A special touch that made the night even better was the Romanian music they played—it’s specific to us, and it was such a nice surprise that made us feel even more at home.

Would absolutely recommend this place for a great meal, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

Just had the most amazing tapas I have ever eaten at the Big Parrot in Chorlton. The chorizo in red wine tomato sauce was to die for! The staff were brilliant, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The service was fast and efficient too. My son and his partner really enjoyed their food too. Would highly recommend and will definitely return there. Thankyou The Big Parrot for such a wonderful experience 😍

About our 6th or 7th visit here and yet again the food and service was excellent thanks to Gio and the team although must apologise for being quite late for our booking time and keeping everyone going later then we should have. Took two friends with us who love their tapas and were quite surprised at how good the food was they will be back again for sure thanks again Big Parrot.

The food was amazing, would definitely recommend trying. Very traditional food cooked to perfection.

Great atmosphere and the staff were amazing and personable, really great with kids. The staff went out of the way to be kind and had great banter and even made my friends favourite cocktail that wasn't on the menu and my son a special cocktail he won't shut up about. A really great vibe and amazing food. Thanks for a great night.
