Items ordered: Ice cream, milk, lemon, and saffron — basic essentials.
Despite the promise of 12-minute delivery, the order was delivered after 45 minutes, and that too only after making FOUR calls to the delivery partner.
This is not a delay — this is false commitment and misleading service.
What’s the point of advertising “quick delivery” if you cannot deliver even simple grocery items on time? Customers plan based on your promises. Repeated failures like this show a serious decline in reliability.
If this continues, I will seriously consider taking this matter to the consumer forum. Customers should not be taken for granted.

Biggest disappointment with BigBasket.
I ordered bread and floor cleaner, and later requested to cancel only the bread. Instead, they randomly cancelled my entire order.
What’s worse is the customer support response — the executive casually said it’s a “system bot” and they have nothing to do with it. Seriously? Blaming a bot instead of taking responsibility is not acceptable. Are customers supposed to just accept mistakes like this?
If you’re going to say the bot doesn’t understand, then why are you even in the market? If your system can’t handle basic requests and ends up doing random things and blunders, that’s a serious issue.
And now the refund timeline is 9 days, which is honestly frustrating.
Platforms like Swiggy Instamart, Zepto, Blinkit, Flipkart Minutes, and Amazon Now offer a much better customer experience and faster refunds.
Very careless experience. Definitely not recommending this app to anyone.

They are disgusting and pathetic when it comes to repaying money.. they will put money in the wallet hoping that the customer will use it to buy again.. after dozens of reminders, they sent it back to my account.. pathetic service in Bangalore.. Very very bad service..they just bill even if they don't have the item and money is locked with them until we keep reminding.. Nothing short of thievery

Big basket always delivered defective products

pathetic delivery. delivery guy was rude. and support is not filing a complaint to address this. divya.komathi. vineet and nagesh ji avoided chat as well. have screenshots as well. dont buy from them.

Worst service. Never go for their quick delivery. You will never get your delivery on time. It is better to go with blink it

Very bad experience every time

Customer service was pathetic, my three orders got cancelled without calling me, and when the call got connected to the delivery agent the delivery agent said he does not get paid for this, he can not come again.

The agent shreyansh disconnected the call without saying anything,
And these people are not even compensating me for the the three orders which was cancelled without calling me, now these people are just escalating the things which I believe will have 0 outcomes.

No help provided at all. I dont know what are the customer care people getting paid for. Never had such worst experience

Added some items to the cart. It needs a OTP to register and shop. provided my email and tried OTP 3 times, get invalid OTP error. Tried with my Indian mobile number, accepted OTP, had to enter my name and email. On hitting continue, get OTP error again. Very annoying.

Today I ordered a hot bag as I was in urgent need. But the product turned out to be a failed one( not in working condition ). And when I tried to return, it is in non returnable. BIG BASKET IS RESPONSIBLE IF SOMETHING DOESNT WORK. Never going to buy anything from Bigbasket again. Hopeless customer care

All their BB Royal & BB Popular products are old, expired, substandard and crawling with bugs.

Their customer service is PATHETIC even after I sent them pics of their products with BUGs in them!

I placed an order at Bigbasket where they deliver the next day and chose the slot 8:30 to 9:30 am for the same. The delivery person called at 6:30 the next day and since everybody was sleeping nobody took the call to recieve the order. The dude went ahead and cancelled on 'operational basis'. Bruh-
I order at 8:30 to 9:30am knowing that nobody was there to recieve the order at 6. This is so terrible bhai, won't order from then henceforth.

Extremely poor and unacceptable service. BigBasket delivered wrong/default products without any confirmation. There is no real customer support available — only an AI chatbot that gives misleading responses and false promises. I was informed that the product would be picked up the very next day, but no one came even after waiting. Because of their negligence and lack of accountability, my money was completely wasted and the product got spoiled. This is highly unprofessional and shows zero respect for customers. Such careless service is not expected from a well-known brand. I am extremely dissatisfied and will never use this app again. I strongly warn others not to waste their time and money on this app.
