Don't buy a Biesse CNC

All Biesse want to do is sell a new machine, their after sales service is awful.
We purchased a Rover B nesting CNC machine 2016 and we have had ongoing technical issues with the machine all it's life. Due to the complex nature of the machine Biesse are incapable of resolving issues remotely and when engineers attend site their standard method of operation is to be on site for the shortest period of time and request parts which don't solve the issues.

Bait and Switch artists

This is an ongoing situation but so far it has been dreadful. My boss purchased a Rover PlastiJet FT 1530 directly from Biesse. Everyone says it's a great machine. I can't attest to this because it's still sitting in the shop unused because they can't get it hooked up right (it send out sparks when hooked to the circuit verified by electricians and the power company as correct). Furthermore the Biesseworks software is pretty much useless. The pattern seems to be that they promise the world and blame the end user if anything goes wrong. Please avoid dealing with this "bait and switch" company.

Do not trust these charlatans

Do not trust these charlatans. over 5 years I have had more than 400 down days on my machine. Engineers not trained properly, software staff not trained properly. b solid is beta software and crashes relentlessly. I have had more than 40 engineer visits to repair parts. Paul wilshaw is a lier and a cheat. Steve Bulmer is not informed of errors. It has been the worse experience of my life dealing with these guys. They claim future itterations of b solid will fix problems but sometimes it gets worse. Now they want me to pay for new itterations of b solid!! It is rubbish software. Terrible service and uneducated lying sales men.

manufacturing defect

The support arm for the trimming heads of our four year old edge bander literally fell apart at its weld allowing the two heads to collide and get torn off by the moving workpiece shattering their castings in the process. Biesse will accept no responsibility for the visibly defective part that has caused so much damage. The after sales service I have received has been truly exasperating.

Awful!!

Wow it’s going on a number of years and I STILL have not really got the machine I wanted to cut with! Paul promised so much but gave so little I am down well over 140,000K know with the cost of the machine and as for reliability well you can forget that!

Installed in 2016 my Rover A FT has had so many faults I could not even try and list them here! Now this is bad enough but when their “service” department is contacted for help we’ll it’s just an exercise in futile hope! You end up with an “Technician” who does not know what they are doing!

Sadly Biesse have mostly cut off communication with me now and have given up with no post provided at point of sale I do not know what more to do I am stuck with a machine I do not want that has cost me a fortune!
