Sraightforward and transparent process, compared to more traditional methods of selling a property via an estate agent.
I‘m very impressed by the professionalism and dedication of the team in Dublin and in my area.
They helped to make this sale as smooth as possible and thus reduced my stress enormously.
I will definitely use BIDX1 with other property sales in the future.
The online auction process is certainly the best method of getting a sale done in a timely manner.

Once we made the decision to go with Bidx1 everything moved along very quickly and efficiently. Fiona was extremely helpful, attentive and efficient. She explained the process well and kept us in the loop every step of the way. She organised photographs, advertising and viewings to suit us. We had never sold by Auction before but I would certainly recommend BIDX 1 after our experience.

Lack transparency and accountability. Don’t think that you are on a level playing field and open auction.

Being completely new to this type of auction, and any type of auction to be frank, im pleased and grateful to have had Kristela, a quick call away, to hold my hands throughout the process, and that really made me feel at ease and made the experience pleasant. I will return again... Don't think I need my hands held anymore haha!

I see our family house is going for auction on the 28 August 2025.
The house I'm referring to, is house no 128 Sibasa street,Chiawelo Soweto Gauteng Soweto Under the Agent Keletso Mashapa.
Im very disappointed how proper consultation or research was not done regarding this house, more especially this house is based in Soweto,so many houses are being sold without consulting members of the family, this is a family house it has been home for over 50 years.I am one of the beneficiary for this property. The house was fraudulently transferred to the new buyer with the assistance of my Aunt who never informed us about selling the property.
It has been in an out of court several times, because all buyers who purchased it through platforms like this, they all have been unsuccessful in evicting us.It has always been transferred from one person to another,Because of unsuccessful eviction.
Now it's going to be auctioned and it will be again transferred to someone who will also apply for eviction and we will always oppose the eviction.
Please do proper research about this house, we have a full story not half story concerning this property, because someone will loose his/her money and its not fair.
We are in a process of reversing the ownership of the property.
Very dishonest company. They don't care about you only the sale. Stay away
Won a property at action being highest bidder. I paid the balance due, €16,400. Half hour later was informed that their was a glitch and it was going back to market next day. Contacted regulator.
BidX1 representative was helpful in the beginning as I explained this was our first time bidding. We won two bids but as it was under reserve price we had to await the sellers acceptance or decline of the bids.
The issue I found was' after the bid acceptance and payment. (We got one property- yay!)
Upside the CEO answered us regarding a transfer and availed himself and his banking agent regarding refund of our other property that the seller did not accept.
Property viewing was slow or non existent as we still needed to arrange the rest of the finance through a bond and the bank agents were struggling with this.
Due to this we are still busy with documents and clearances needed for transfer. Property was won more than two months ago.
We asked about occupancy and were told (telephonically) that the heirs stayed in the place we bought and occupancy should not be a problem as they would be benefiting- only to find out now from the conveyancer that it was not an heir and the tenant is subletting. - We did know according to Condition of sale that vacant occupancy is not guaranteed but honest/ reliable information is a must so buyers can contemplate if we would like to accept the risk.
We also had to contact the conveyancers ourselves even after asking for the next steps or contacts repeatedly as we wanted to get ourselves organised.
Would I deal with them again? I would only go through this again if a really good deal arose.
Things for you to consider for any auction:
- get everything in writing, even if you are asked to call in response to a written question. Either say no writing is preferred and you would not want to communicate over the phone for protection of yourself and the organisation. Or send an email with 'read receipt' recapping the conversation.

Bidding process was very clear and straight forward. Despite the complicated procedure (mainly caused by my finance), BidX1 staff were supportive all the way, from before the bid until long after. Isabelle and her immediate team were very helpful, particularly navigating our interactions with the seller's legal team.

I went to view a property by appointment with BidX. I decided I would like to bid for the property. I paid my fully refundable deposit. I won the house. Everything took 2 weeks to complete. BidX were super efficient so to was my solicitor. Sale completed in two weeks.

MY DEALINGS WERE WITH NICOLE COURCHEE, I FOUND HER EXTREMELY HELPFUL, PATIENTLY GUIDING ME THROUGH THE AUCTION PROCESS.

Despite not winning the plot I bid on, I wanted to leave a review. I received my deposit in full, less than 12 hours after the auction had finished. All my emails were responded to promptly by Nicole and I would definitely use them again, if another plot becomes available.

The sale process was made so easy by the dedicated and reassuring team. The amount received for my property far exceeded my expectations and
I’m sure this was due to the can do attitude and professionalism of this company.
I would particularly like to highlight Nicole Couchee
who worked so hard ,on what was potentially a difficult sale and with her cheery manner is a credit to the company.
I would also like to thank Oliver Childs for his personal attention to this project and his sound advice and support.
I recommend this company to anyone thinking of selling their property at auction.

Nicole and Mat have been very supportive to us throughout the process, from bidding to confirmation from the vendor (Bank).
They have been courteous and highly professional in their dealings with us buying an auction property in the UK.
I highly recommend her and Bidx1 team. Great works !

Outstanding service from start to finish! I have sold a mixture of residential, land, and commercial lots with BidX1, and they provided a fantastic experience throughout. The BidX1 agent was always available at the end of the phone, answering my many questions and guiding the sales process seamlessly. I couldn't recommend BidX1 more highly.

Got your generic reply,,, ie to respond privately.. NO THANKYOU. I am looking to purchase.. but have no confidence in bidx1. Adios
Having viewed a house for sale in carlow, i was extremely interested in placing a bid. However i was unable to.
Contacted them on over 10 occasions, no reply on emails or contact us button.
Emailed ceo of company expressing my interest in house & anxious to bid. No reply.
Also wanted to put my house up with them.
I wouldn't now as probably other buyers had same issue. So Vendor potentially losing out. Ill certainly make the vendor aware. Too late for them but a warning to others hopefully.
Not possible to give no stars..
Odd way they only respond to the few good reviews??? Emmm steer clear.

I am giving one star as I can't give them zero.
Definitely not recommend to buy through Bidx. You will be ghosted by the sales person. BidX gets income when the bidder register for bidding that is approximately 200e per person, a money a lot of people loose if they are not successful.
You need to get the paperwork checked by the solicitor and the house inspected by the engineer upfront, before you even start bidding, that is a lost cost of you are unsuccessful.
Next, if you are successful you will be literally forced to buy the property otherwise you loose the deposit of approximately 5k.
To any person who is even considering buying on BidX, especially first time buyers, DO NOT. Do not be tempted by a low entry asking price - price will go up during bidding and you will only be loosing money the moment you sign up for this gambling Game.
House is serious expense, you need to consider the purchase carefully, a luxury that you don't get with BidX.
Sales people are ghosting you, they just want money, and even a person who is showing you a house has no clue, nothing at all about the house, their job is to open and close the door for you. Talking from experience, unfortunately..
