Just a brilliant auction site, its just so simple and good value for money, shipping is a bit costly but still you cannot have it both ways.

I just sold my boat with Asset Auctions Ltd and was delighted with no fees no fuss approach. Bidspotter has been a very useful website to help find auctions I’ve been using for the last 3 years.

I cannot rate Asset Auctions highly enough!! I recently purchased a hot tub that was described as 'Warehouse Clearance' through Asset Auctions. On receiving it, the hot tub was clearly second-hand, damp, moldy and most of the components were missing including the lid and the pipes that connect the pump to the tub. I contacted the seller and he just said contact Asset Auctions referring to their T&C's which he was obviously intending on hiding behind. I spoke to Asset Auctions and they couldn't have been more obliging or helpful. They were not happy with the traders transaction and refunded our full costs immediately (including theirs). You worry about getting caught out like this when buying from an auction site but this transaction has filled me with confidence to bid on future lots.

Recently I have sold several plant items via the bidspotter platform through Asset Auctions.

No wasting time with tyre kickers and cash offers, Adrian and the team have delivered over and over again for me.

Auctions are carried out quickly, efficiently and well advertised. I have been surprised on several occasions to achieve an above anticipated disposal price, I can only put this down to exceptional marketing and listing on bidspotter.

Accounts are a dream, once the money is in their account it’s in yours. No chasing or hassle. Very refreshing.

Rarely when we have had issues with no paying bidders/no shows Adrian has been quick to resolve much to our satisfaction.

I honestly will only use Asset Auctions for equipment disposal in the future.

I have thought a lot about writing this review or not but I thought it is a good idea to do so as it may help some people who trust some CROOKS as they use the sytem loop holes to abuse the trust. My issue was with ALEXANDER AURELIUS AUCTIONS which was adevertising themselves at Bidspotter and I-bidder as auction rooms. I had spent £66.12 including fees on a WD portable hard drive which is DEAD, it has been opened and put back together with a glue. When you look at the ad it seems so geniune you fall for the marketing tricks of these new generation crooks using auction rooms for getting rid ofdefected goods and companies like Bidspotter give them opportunities to do this as they get commission too, although there are some geniune auctioneers there are more opportunits who are using the general aution terms implied by the law but NOT CHECKED by the authoroties. So watch for what you are buying and the way they advertise it legally they cover their back advertising the good as secondhand and they don't know if they work or not which in reality with most electronics consider it as NOT WORKING and do not fall for your AUCTION BUYING or BURGAIN HUNTING weakness as there are lots of DISHONEST people who are waiting to pray on you because you can't even get your money back and you LOOSE. So think 3 times before you but and what you buy.

Used Bidspotter site and associated auctioneers several times, really useful and well presented site, my go to site having a wide interest offering.

Pro Auction (Bath) provided me with an excellent and enjoyable experience and so easy to do. Entertaining auctioneer quickly runs through all items as they appear online, easy payment, and very polite accommodating staff to help with collection. I have saved a fortune! And have been back again. Now that's "the real deal!!"

Easy to use / search website, always been easy to arrange collection etc, items as described

Bidspotter is excellent in terms of items for auction and Customer Service and Help. Most of the auctions can deliver but some auctions say that they cannot deliver and that the buyer must arrange his own collection or courier. That is difficult and expensive when the items are a long way from the buyer. It would be good if ALL auctions could arrange delivery. If all the auctions could arrange delivery, I would certainly bid for more items. Naturally, heavy machinery cannot be sent by courier and would require specialist transport. Apart from that occasional difficulty, Bidspotter itself is an excellent set up.

Would stay away from this site. We won a couple of auctions and they never sent the invoice through. We did get through on the phone in which the lady said they she would the invoice again and we had until 4 pm that day to pay but nothing was sent. Then got a email saying our account was banned. We rang again got a obnoxious women talking all over my husband and not listening saying we should have paid the invoice. It's was impossible to get through to lady that they had not sent the invoice so how could me pay. We did eventually get the stuff we had won but we are never using this company again. Look for another auction site stay away.

Currently trying very hard to communicate with Asset Auctions - I just want a collection address to pick up "my" machine and no one is capable of revealing such information! On the phone numerous times since Monday one woman unable to send email as phones are busy (strange no one has picked up since) no one is capable of giving me a collection address emails sent and no response, an absolute joke ! so far Ive paid for a machine and never seen it and cant collect it - wondering after reading reviews does it exist!!!
