I had a problem with a UV lamp and rang BIBO to purchase a new one. I left a message explaining my problem and left my telephone number for a call back. Later that day I picked up a voice mail. A new lamp was in the post already due to be delivered the next working day'. I have had my Bibo for 7 years it has never had a fault in that time. Whenever I have called Bibo, I have found the staff to be absolutely charming and very efficient. It is so unusual and very pleasant to find a company with a great product and such good customer service. The product itself is of high quality and an absolute essential piece of equipment in our Kitchen, dispensing hot cold and warm water at the touch of a button. I never realised how inconvenient my kettle was until I no longer needed it. Maintenance is minimal. Once a year, I change filters and clean the tank (just a soak with cleaning solution). For that evening my Bibo is out of action and I need to reactivate my kettle. For that one night, I really miss that machine! Thankyou Bibo, don't ever stop!

Great machine, however longevity and warranty/customer service is not good.
For such an expensive machine, with an ongoing £100+/year subs, you'd expect it to last longer than the warranty period.
Initially, we loved it that much we bought another for my home office.. Yup, large investment, and ongoing £200+/year subs, but worth it, or so we thought..
First machine stopped chilling after about 8 months, was replaced quickly via courier on a swap-out basis.. All good..
2nd machine did same about 18 months later...
They diagnosed it as compressor failure, BUT the compressor is still working, I just think it's lost some refrigerant (no the condenser coil has not been damaged) possibly from an internal joint (compression fitting worked loose due to vibration from said compressor?) who knows..
Anyway, got in touch via email, to be offered 2 options..
1: Pay £489 for a "service & repair" (probably just a tighten and regas!)
2: Receive an £80 "trade in" against the newer machine @ £849... And I bet they will repair my old one and sell it as refurbished..
NOT IMPRESSED... They should have more faith in, and stand by their product at the end of the day.
So subs will be cancelled and alternatives sought..
I'll also be speaking to my credit card company who I purchased this with, as surely this appears to be a known/common issue. One scan of Facebook marketplace etc reveals several for sale with similar issues..
Very good purchase, so satisfied with overall experience. Highly recommended product to everyone.

Order seemed to be taking a lot longer to arrive than usual, so I contacted Customer Service.
Very quick reply from Jasmine who informed me she would send replacement CO2 Canister by overnight delivery - this arrived next day, as promised.

Owned BiBo for many years, although had issues. Their customer services is second to none. Such a good company that I was willing to help them throughout their testing with the BiBo Nova prior to rollout.
